SHOWS, EXHIBITIONS AND 'GAMES CONDUCTED OR CARRIED ON IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, FIXING THE RATE OF LICENSE THEREFORE, PROVID- ING FOR COLLECTION THEREOF, AND FIXING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF." THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DO ORDAIN AS FOL- LOWS: SECTION 1. That Section 15 of `Ordinance No. 442 ,of the City of Ana- 1heim, as amended by Ordinance No. 498, as amended by Ordinance No. 504, other than bona -fide subscribers- or I be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: For every person, firm or corpora- tion conducting, managing or carrying 6n the business of distributing, adver- j tiling samples, hand -bills, dodgers or newspapers to any person or persons , Purchasers for said newspaper, Twenty ($20.00) Dollars per day. For the purpose of this Section, the (expression "carrying on the business" its defined to be, and is construed to anean the doing of any act or series of , jcts of distributing of said hand -bills, codgers or newspapers, in the manner !in .this Section specified. SECTION 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict with the pro- visions of this Ordinance are hereby ,repealed. SECTION 3. The City Clerk of the ,City of Anaheim shall certify to the ;passage of this Ordinance, and cause ,the same to be published once in the Unahefm' Gazette, a weekly 'newspaper of general circulation, published in the City of Anaheim, and from and after its final passage, it shall take effect, and be in full force.
