That Section 5 of Ordi- nance No. 507 of the City of Anaheim, )ntitled: "An Ordinance Providing for the Licensing of,Business, Professions, 1 Shows, Exhibitions and Games Con- I ducted or Carried - on in the cty of Anaheim, Fixing the Rate -of License Therefor. Providing for Collection Thereof, and Fixing Penalties for the i Violation Thereof," be amended to, read 1 as follows: SECTION 5. All licenses shall be paid in advance in the legal currency of the United States, at the office of the City Marshal Provided, however, that the licenses required to be paid by the provisions of this Ordinance shall be due and pay- able from and after the first day of July, 1927. A separate lioense must be obtained for each branch establishment or separate place of business in which the business, profession, show, eshibl- tion or game is carried on, and each license shall authorize the party ob- taining it to carry on, pursue or con- duct only that business, profession, show, exhibition or game described in such license, and which is indicated thereby, and all of the provisions of this . ordinance shall apply with equal force to branch estblishments. The annual license in this Ordinance provided for shall be due and payable to they City at the time specified here- in respectively, or when not so spect- fled, on the first day of July of each year, but the first annual 'license is- sued to any person as herein Provided I shall be issued for the 'Unexpired period of such year, except as herein other- wise in this Ordinance specifically pro- vided. SECTION 4.
