AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM, FINING THE AMOUNT
OF THE OFFICIAL BONDS OF THF4
CLERK, TREASURER, MARSHAL
AND RECORDER OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM, AND REPEALING OR
DINANCE NUMBER 520 OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM, ENTITLED
11AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE
AMOUNT OF THE OFFICIAL
BONDS OF THE CLERII, TREAS-
URER, MARSHAL AID RECORDER
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM-°'
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DO ORDAIN AS FOL-
LOWS:
SECTION 1. Before the entry upon
the duties of their respective offices, the
Cleric, who is P.x-Officio Assessor, the
Treasurer, the :Marshal, who is Ex -
Officio Tax and License Collector, and
the Recorder, of the said City of Ana-
heim, shall execute bonds to the City
of Anaheim, in the following penal sums,
to -wit
The said Cleric, who is Ex -Officio
Assessor, in the penal sum of Two
Thousand ($2,000.00) Dollars.
The said Treasurer, in the penal sum
of Fifty Thousand ($50,000.00) IDollars,
The said Marshal, who is Ex -Officio
Tax and License Collector, in the penal
sum of Five Thousand ($5000.00) Dol-
lars.
The said Recorder, in the penal sum
of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars.
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 520, en-
titled "An Ordinance Fixing the
Amount of the Official Bonds of the
Clerk, Treasurer, Marshal and Recorder
of the City of Anaheim," and all other
ordinances and parts of ordinances ill
conflict with the provisions of this,
ordinance, are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shalt
certify to the passage of this ordinance,
and cause the same to be published once
in the "Anaheim Gazette," a weekly
newspaper of general circulation, print-
ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this
ordinance, are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall
{certify to the passage of this ordinance.,
and cause the same to be published once
in the "Anaheim Gazette," a weekly,
newspaper of general circulation, print
ed; -published- and cimulated'V in
City of Anaheim, and said ordinep"
shall take effect thirty (30) days after w
:its publication.
