THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS SECTION 1. That pursuant to Section 93 of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of California there be, and is fixed and levied, a property tax rate for the fiscal year 2012/2013 of .00227 percent of full value on all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, for the purpose of paying the annual interest on bonds and such part of the principal as will become due before the proceeds of the next general tax levy will be available. That the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim shall certify to the County Auditor of Orange County, the foregoing distribution of the tax rate of the City of Anaheim to be extended by him on the 2012/2013 County Assessment Roll for the collection thereof in the same manner as County taxes. SECTION 3. DECLARATION OF URGENCY That this ordinance is hereby declared to be necessary as an emergency measure for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health or safety which shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption pursuant to Section 511 of the City Charter. A statement of the reasons for such urgency is: 1. The Anaheim City Charter requires that the City Council fix the rate and levy taxes each year. 2.
