AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No,
2k9 --SERIES 1959-60 in Reclassification No. F-59-60-101
recommending denial of a change in the boundaries of the zone
or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having
held a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed
in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider
such proposed change of zone or zones, and after having re-
ceived evidence and reports from persons interested therein;
and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report
of findings, simmary of evidence and recommendation of the
City Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 31st
day of May, 1960, as the time, and the Council Chamber in
the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided
in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor-
tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and
did thereupon consider the recommendation of the City Planning
Commission, and did adopt Resolution No. 6457, finding and
determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of the
zone should be made as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution No. 6457,
certain conditions and requirements were made as conditions
precedent to the making of a change or changes of said zones;
and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change of
zones have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:

That portion of Lot 16 of Anaheim Extension, as shown
on a map by William Hamel and filed for record in the
Office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
California, described as follows:
Beginning at the center line intersection of Placentia
Avenue 60.00 feet in width and Vermont Avenue 66.00
feet in width, said point also being the Southeasterly
corner of said Lot 16; thence from said point of be-
ginning and along the center line of Vermont Avenue
and the Southerly line of said Lot 16, South 740 341 15"
West 641.43 feet, more or less, to the Westerly line
of the land conveyed to Bernard Schroeder by deed re-
corded in Book 352, Page 266, Deeds, Records of said
Orange County; thence along the Westerly line of the
land of Schroeder, North 150 271 2011 West 255.83 feet;
thence entering the land of Schroeder, North 740 341
1511 East 712.57 feet, more or less, to the Easterly
line of said Lot 16, and the center line of Placentia
Avenue; thence along the Easterly line of said Lot 16,
and the center line of Placentia Avenue, South 00 051
1511 West 265.51 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Southwesterly 340 feet thereof.
ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Southerly 135.00 feet of
the Easterly 135.00 feet measured along the Easterly
and Southerly lines respectively of Lot 16 of Anaheim
Extension, in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, as shown on a map of Survey made
by William Hamel and filed in the Office of the County
Recorder of Los Angeles County, a copy of which is shown
in Book 3, Pages 163 et seq entitled copy
Angeles County
Maps" in the Office of the County Recorder of said
Orange County, for the purpose of this description, the
side line of the streets are construed to be the lot
lines.
Said land is included within the area shown on a map
filed in Book 15, Page 499 of Record of Survey in the
Office of the County Recorder of said Orange County;
now is R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL and R-1, ONE -FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL ZONES, and that it be changed to and incorporated
in the C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD-OC",MERCIAL ZONE, subject to the fol-
lowing condition:
That there shall be no access to subject property on
Tyrol Place.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City En-
gineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.

SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 5th day of July , 1961 .
