AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolutions Nos.
225 and 226, in Reclassification No. F-60-61-83, recommending
an amendment of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and a
change in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described, after having held public hearings
thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said Title 18 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change of
zone or zones, and after having received evidence and reports
from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make
findings, summaries of its hearings, and did recommend a
change or changes of zones as set forth in Resolutions Nos.
225 and 226 of the City Planning Commission; and
J- WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolutions, reports of
findings, summaries of evidence and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 2nd day of May,
1961, as the time, and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of
the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public hearing upon said
proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
and change or changes of zone, and did give notice thereof in
the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did
thereupon consider the recommendations of the City Planning
Commission, and did thereupon adopt Resolution No. 6863, finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
should be amended and that a change or changes in the bound-
aries of .one should be rr.ade Es set _f'or h in said resolution;
and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution No. 6863,
certain conditions and requirements were made as conditions
precedent to the making of a change or changes of said zone
or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with:

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION l:
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in �:he City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
PARCEL 1.
Thatortion of the Northwest Quarter of the North-
west Quarter of Section 19, Township 4 South, Range
10 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes as shown on a
map recorded in book 51, page 10, Miscellaneous Maps,
records of Orange County, California, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point in the northerly line of said
Northwest Quarter, distant thereon North 890 141 5411
East 200 feet from the northwest corner thereof;
thence South 00 38t 4011 East parallel with the westerly
line of said Northwest. Quarter 200 feet; thence South
890 141 5401 West parallel with said northerly line
200 feet to said westerly line, thence South 00 381 4011
East 220.56 feet; thence North 89° 141 5401 East parallel
with said northerly line 572.84 feet; thence North
00 381 40t1 West 420.56 feet to a point in the northerly
line of said Northwest Quarter; thence South 890 141 54"
West 372.84 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion located at the Southeast
corner of Ball Road and Magnolia Avenue 1501 x 1501.
PARCEL 2.
That portion of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter of Section 19, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
In the Rancho Los Coyotes, as said Section is shown on
a map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous
Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said
County, and that portion of Lot 17 of the P.A. Stanton
Tract, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 5, pages
23 and 24 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange
County, California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Westerly line of said
Northwest quarter distant thereon South 00 381 4001
East, 441.50 feet from the Northwest corner thereof;
thence North 890 141 5411 East 572.84 feet to the West
line of Lot 14 in said P.A. Stanton Tract; thence
South 00 381 4011 East 345.00 feet along the West line
of Lots 14 and 15 in said P.A. Stanton Tract; thence
South 89° 141 5411 West 572.84 feet to the West line
of said section, thence North 0° 381 4011 West 345.00
feet to the point of beginning;

now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be
changed to and incorporate in the C-11 NEIGH$ORHOOD-00MMERCIAL ZONE,
subject to the following condition which shall apply to Parcel 2 only:
That said Parcel 2 shall be developed substantially
in accordance with the plans presented to the City
Council and on file with the City of Anaheim, EXCEPT
that there shall be eliminated therefrom the proposed
development of a cocktail lounge.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be
added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved
and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin ,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by

adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 6th day
