ORDINANCE NO. 1582
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 3, CHAPTER 3.56, SECTION 3.56.020 OF
THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO JUNK
COLLECTORS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
That Title 3, Chapter 3.56, Section 3.56.020 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended to
read as follows:
"Section 3.56.020 JUNK COLLECTORS.
"Every person conducting, managing or carrying
on the business of junk collector shall pay an
annual license of $100 or at the option of the
licensee a 180 -day license of $50.
"For the purpose of this section a junk collector
is defined to be any person,other than a junk dealer,
engaged in the business of buying or selling, either
at wholesale or retail of rags, bottles, papers,
cans, metals or other articles of junk."
SECTION 2:
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once within
fifteen (15) days from and after its adoption in the Anaheim
Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published
and circulated in the City of Anaheim, and thirty (30) days from
and after its final passage it shall be in full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 6th day of June , 1961.
