Anaheim did heretofore fix a. time and place for the holding of
a public hearing upon a proposed change in the boundaries of
the zone hereinafter mentioned and described in the manner and
as prescribed in Title 18 of the Anaheim Eunicipal Code, and did
duly hold and conduct said public hearing to consider such propos-
ed change of zone, and did receive evidence and reports from persons
interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission having failed
to achieve a majority vote of its members,for approval or denial
of said change of zone,within a period of forty (40) days fol-
lowing the final hearing thereon, did refer the natter of said
proposed change of zone to the City Council without recommenda-
tion; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and findings of
the City Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 15th
day of November, 1960, as the time, and the Council Chamber in
the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public
hearing upon said proposed change of zone, and did give notice
thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the
�Anaheim Tuunicipal Code; and
at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did consider the
report of the City Planning Commission, and did adopt Resolution
No. 6539, finding and determining that a change or changes of
zone should be made as set forth in said resolution; and
MEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution No. 6539,
certain conditions and requirements were made as conditions pre-
cedent to the making of a change of said zone; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change of
zone have been complied with;
NMI, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANA-
HEL,I DOLS OPLA I N AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title, 18 of the Anaheim bunicipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Pap or Laps showing such change as follows:

That. all cf the area situated in the City of Anaheim«,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
The Forth 0'.13 acres of the Northwest quarter
of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast
quarter of Section 11, Township L� South, Range
11 Vest, San Bernardino Base and F'eridian;
ElCEPTIPdG THEREFROP the Southerly one acre
thereof;
nOW is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in it -3, I,iULTIPLE-FJ*-.ILY RESIDENTIAL GONE,
upon the following conditions:
1. That subject property be developed sub-
stantially in accordance with the plans
presented to the City Council, on file
with the City of Anaheir:, and by reference
made a. part hereof, which plans provide
for one-story construction.
L. That the owner of subject property pay to
the City of Anaheim the sure of $25.00 per
dwelling unit, to be used for park and
recreation purposes, said sum, to be paid
at the tir:e the building permit is issued.
SECT IGN 2.
The City Zoning t-'-ap shall be, and the sarr.e is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from_
the zone in which it is nog: situated, and incorporated in and
Trade a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning 11,1ap as amended is hereby adopted and the City En-
gineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning riap to
be added to the City Zoning Pap showing the changes hereby ap-
proved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the sa.re to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from, and after
its final passage it shall tate effect and be in full force.

at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Anaheim held
on the 25th day of April, 1961, and that the same was duly passed and
adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 2nd day
of May, 1961, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Chandler, Coons, Fry, Thompson and Schutte
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the'City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1571 on the 2nd day of May, 1961.
