AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No.
147 --SERIES 1960-61 _, in Reclassification No.F-60-61-49
0 recommending an amendment of Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code and a change in the boundaries
of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after
having held a public hearing thereon in the manner and as pre-
scribed in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to
consider such proposed change of zone or zones, and after having
received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make
findings, summaries of its bearings, and did recommend a
change or changes of zones as set forth in Resolution No.
147 --SERIES 1960-61 of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 24th day of
January. 1 19 61 , as the time, and the Council Chamber
in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone., and did
give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at"d',etime and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein An opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did
thereupon consider the recommendation of the City Planning
Commission, and did thereupon adopt Resolution (s) No. (s)
6630 . finding and determining that Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code should be amended and that a change or
changes in the boundaries of zone should be made as set forth
in said resolution(s); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) N0.(s)
6630 certain conditions and requirements
were made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1:
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
PARCEL 1.
The Southwesterly 100 feet of Lot 1in Block 11H11of New Subdivision of Vineyard Lot 'D5." in the
City of Anaheim,,County of Orange, State of Calif-
ornias
per map recorded in Book 17, Page '72
Fiisceilaneous Records of Los Angeles Coun y,Eafif-
ornia.
PARCEL 2
The Southwesterly 22 feet of the Northeasterly 57
feet of Lot 15 in Block "Hl' of the New Subdivision
of Vineyard Lot 11D5,11 in. the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange State of California, as per map recorded
in Book 1�, Page 72 of Miscellaneous Records of Los
Angeles County', California;
now is P-1, AUTCRgOBILE PARKING `LONE, and that it be changed to and
incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD-CONI%iERCIAL ZONE, subject to the
following condition:
That application for the erection of �t sign be
made in accordance with the present sign policy
of the City.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and

i y Lo sing Map as amended is here adopteed and the Fitt' kngin.eer
is hereby directed to prepare a sec ional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in Li e AnaheimBulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 28th —day day of February J 19 61

hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1553 was introduced
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Anaheim held
on the 21st day of February, 1961, and that the same was duly passed
and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the
28th day of February, 1961, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Chandler, Coons, Fry, Thompson and Schutte
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Ordinance No. -1553 on the 28th day of
February, 1961.
