AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING SECTIONS OF TITLE 18
(ZONING) OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO PLANNING COMMISSION
AND ZONING ADMINISTRATOR PROCEDURES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Section 18.03.071 of Chapter 18.03 of Title 18 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended to
read as follows:
1118.03.071 NOTIFICATION OF PLANNING COMMISSION
ACTIONS.
Not later than ten (10) days following the
adoption of any Planning Commission resolution
granting or denying any reclassification,
conditional use permit or variance, the
Secretary of the Planning Commission shall mail
a copy of the resolution to the applicant and
shall forward to the City Clerk (1) a conformed
copy of the resolution; (2) a summary of the
proceedings of the Planning Commission meetings
wherein the matter was considered; (3) the
applicable staff reports and (4) the location
map of the project or property."
SECTION 2.
That subsection .060 of Section 18.12.070 of Chapter
18.12 of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is
hereby, amended to read as follows:
11.060 The decision of the Zoning Administrator
shall be final fifteen (15) days following the
action thereon unless, within said period, a
written appeal to the City Council is filed
with the City Clerk or unless a request to
review said decision is made by a member of the
City Council. Upon receipt of a timely appeal
or a request for review, the City Clerk shall
notify the Zoning Administrator to transmit to
the City Clerk the petition, the summary of the
proceedings thereon, and all files and records
in said case."

SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY
The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby declares
that should any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this
ordinance of the Code, hereby adopted, be declared for any reason
to be invalid, it is the intent of the Council that it would have
passed all other portions of this ordinance independent of the
elimination herefrom of any such portion as may be declared
invalid.
