AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING THE ZONING MAP REFERRED TO
IN TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT:
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission heretofore held a duly
noticed public hearing and, as a result thereof, did adopt its
Resolution No. PC91-181 determining that a change or changes in the
zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described should be made;
and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were made as
conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of said
zone or zones, which conditions have been complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Zoning Map referred to in Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by
rezoning and reclassifying that certain property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to wit:
THAT PORTION OF LOT 7 OF ANAHEIM EXTENSION, IN
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, COUNTY OF ORANGE, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, ACCORDING TO A MAP OF SURVEY MADE
BY WILLIAM HAMEL, ACKNOWLEDGED BY ALFRED
ROBINSON, TRUSTEE, AND ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF
THE COUNTY RECORDER OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
BEING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF LAND DESCRIBED
IN DEED TO WILLIAM M. RAUM AND WIFE, RECORDED
APRIL 20, 1949 IN BOOK 1831, PAGE 283, OFFICIAL
RECORDS, SAID POINT BEING IN THE CENTER LINE OF
PLACENTIA AVENUE AND DISTANT SOUTH 00 07' 25"
WEST 135.70 FEET FROM THE INTERSECTION OF SAID
CENTER LINE WITH THE CENTER LINE OF SYCAMORE
AVENUE, AS SAID STREETS ARE SHOWN ON A MAP OF
TRACT NO. 1451, RECORDED IN BOOK 50, PAGES 28
AND 29 OF MISCELLANEOUS MAPS, RECORDS OF ORANGE
COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, THENCE SOUTH 89.98 FEET
ALONG THE CENTER LINE OF SAID PLACENTIA AVENUE
TO THE NORTHEASTERLY PROLONGATION OF THE NORTH
LINE OF LOT 123 OF SAID TRACT NO. 1451; THENCE
RECLASS 491-92-08
SOUTH 740 22' 45" WEST 181.15 FEET TO THE
NORTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 124 OF SAID TRACT NO.
1451; THENCE NORTH 49.43 FEET TO THE NORTHEAST
CORNER OF LOT 125 OF SAID TRACT NO. 1451;
THENCE NORTH 00 07' 25" WEST ALONG THE EAST
LINE OF LAND DESCRIBED AS PARCEL 2 IN DEED TO
WENDELL R. BURGESS AND WIFE, RECORDED MAY 6,
1949 IN BOOK 1840, PAGE 42 OF OFFICIAL RECORDS,
TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SAID LAND OF WILLIAM
M. RAUM; THENCE NORTH 740 29' 35" EAST 181.15
FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING,
into the "CL" COMMERCIAL, LIMITED ZONE.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended and the property above-described shall be excluded from the
zone in which it is now situated and incorporated in and made a
part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning
Map, as amended, is hereby adopted and the Planning Department is
hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to
the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3. CERTIFICATION
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a
newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in said
City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage, it
shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 29th day of September , 1992.
