AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 1.8 OF THE ANAHt I14
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TC ZONING
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT-.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No,
Series 162-6 in Reclassifica iop No. 62-63-16 ,
recomp^ending an amendMexit of Title 18 of the Anaheim Munni g '1
Code,and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone car
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public. hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title l& of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, saki City Planning Commission did make findings
and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes
of zone or zones as set forth is: said resolutions and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said .resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation..of the City
Plaxtn`ing Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 4th day of
September , 19'62 , as the time, and the ouncil.Chamber

public hearing.upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
AnaheimMunicipal Code,and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did° give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Codes and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said pub'l c
hear#xg$,, the City Council did hold and conduct such public: .:wring
and dict give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
;hear, and 'dial -receive evidence and reports, and _did thereupon
consider,;the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries
of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional
Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
Parcel 1. The north half of the southeast quarter of the
southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of section 27,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon
de Santa Ana, city of Anaheim, county of Orange, state of
California, as per map recorded in book 51.page 10 of
Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the county recorder of
said county.
EXCEPT the North 150.00 feet of the East 150.00 feet thereof.
Parcel 2. The North 150.00 feet of the East 150.00 feet of
the north half of the southeast quarter of the southeast
quarter of the northeast quarter of section 27, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa
Ana, city of Anaheim, county of Orange, state of California,
as per map recorded in book 51 page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps,
In the office of the county recorder of said county.
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL. -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon
the following conditions:
1. That the owner of subject property shall pay to the City
of ,Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwelling unit, to be
used for park and recreation purposes, said amount to be
paid at the time the building permits are issued.
2. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and
determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire
Department of the City of Anaheim.
3. That access drives shall be provided of a minimum width
of 21 feet, with, adequate angle cutoffs, or of a minimum
width of 28 feet if no cutoffs are provided; and, in all
cases, there shall be a minimum vertical clearance of
14 feet.
!. That subject property shall be developed substantially
in accordance with plans marked "Exhibits Nos. 1 and 2"
on file with the City of Anaheim, EXCEPT that an aisle
of a minimum width of 30 feet shall be established and
maintained between the garages which face one another.
5. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible to
trash. -truck pickup, shall be provided as determined and
required by the Street Maintenance and Sanitation Divi-
sion of the Public Works Department, which areas shall
be enclosed with a solid fence or wall prior to final
building inspection.

SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within`.
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force,
