1791• ORDINANCE NO. 1791 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT- ING TO ZONING. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT: WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 103 -- Series 1961-62 in Reclassification No. 61-62-30 , recommen i,g an amendment of Title 18 of the An eim Municipa Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, said City Manning Commission did make find- ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City Planning Coammission, the. City Clerk did fix the 7th day of November , 1961 , as the time, and t ee Co+nc�l Chamber in the t e City aTf_ the City of Anaheim as the place, for a pablic hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and Y�TEMREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council dial hold and conduct such public hear- ing and did give all parsons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there- upon conaider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and, did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 7353 , finding and determining that Title 18 of the Ari heim Municipa Coda should be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu- tion(s) ; and WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution(s) 7353 certain conditions and :requirements were made as con iti.®ns precedent to the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones; and WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or changes of zone or zones have been complied with; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS SECTION 1. That `title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as follows-. 1 60-61-96 and 61-62-30 That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: Lot 7 of Tract No. 1635 as shown on a map recorded in Book 49, Pages 1 and 2 of Miscel- laneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California. now is R-1, ONE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions: 1. That the entire property or area described in Resolution No. 7353, Reclassification Proceedings Nos. 60-61-96 and 61-62-30, shall be developed in accordance with Precise Plan Study, Exhibit No. 5, on file with the City of Anaheim. 2. Concrete paving and provisions of tree wells or landscaping, including street trees, of the parkway portion of the street and highway rights of way abutting said Lot No. 7 and the landscaping of the front yard of said lot, plans for said landscaping to be submitted to and subject to the approval of the Superintendent of Parkway Main- tenance, and to be installed prior to final building inspection. The maintenance of all landscaping required on subject lot shall be considered a condition of use of subject lot. 3. Provision of enclosed trash storage areas, subject to the approval of the Director of Public Works and Superintendent -of Streets, at the rear of subject lot, adequate in size to contain all trash within the enclosure, prior to final building inspection. There shall be no outdoor storage of materials under any circumstances. 4. Signs and advertisements located on subject lot, and visible from Placentia Avenue, shall be limited to one free-standing sign with a maximum of eight square feet of area. Said sign shall be of a uniform nature with the signs on the other properties described in Resolution No. 7353 in these reclassification proceedings, and shall be subject to the approval of the Architectural Committee. No flags, banners, lighted signs, billboards, or rotating devices shall, under any circumstances be permitted. SECTION 2 The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted. • - 2 - SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of -this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
