AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
`T'IT'LE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT -
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 505--
1962-63 in Reclassification No. 62-63-30
recommen. in.g an amendment of Title 18 of the An eim Municipal
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein, and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make find-
ings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change
or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings,, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 30th day of
October �, 19 62 , as the time, and tEe C®un 'L

a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to `title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHiEJREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the; City Caun.cil did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon corzsider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and dial adopt Resolution ,1s) No. (s) 62R-973 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the AM eim Municipal Code
should be amended and that a change or chaunges in the boundaries
of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolu-
tion(s) ; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said. Resolution(s)
62R-973 , certain conditions and requirements were made
as con iti®ns precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;

DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS -
SECTION 10
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the .zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows -

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
That certain sixty -foot (60') P -L, PARKING -LANDSCAPING
ZONE, measured from the plannned highway right of way line
as established by the Circulation Element of the
Comprehensive General Plan, along the highway frontage
of the following described properties:
1. Those properties lying on the north and south sides and
along Orangethorpe Avenue extending from Lemon
Street to East Street.
2.. Those properties lying on the east side of and
along Lemon Street extending from a point
approximately 337 feet northerly of the center
line of Commercial Street to the northerly City
Limits.
3. Those properties lying on the west side of and
along East Street from La Palma Avenue to the
northerly City Limits.
4. Those properties lying on the north side of
La Palma .Avenue extending from Pauline Street
to East Street.
be changed, in part, from P -L, PARKING -LANDSCAPING ZONE,
as follows:
That said sixty -foot (60') P -L, PARKING -LANDSCAPING ZONE,
be reduced to fifty (50) feet in width, said width of
fifty (50) feet to be measured from the planned highway
right of way line established by the Circulation Element
of the Comprehensive General Pian, and that the remaining
ten (10) feet be removed from the P -L, PARKING -
LANDSCAPING ZONE and incorporated in the M-1, LIGHT -
MANUFACTURING ZONE, except for that area on the south
side of Orangethorpe Avenue extending from approximately
12346 feet to approximately 2,656 feet westerly from
the center line of East Street, which shall be incorporated
in the M-2, HEAVY -MANUFACTURING ZONE.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set .forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.

held on the 11th day of December, 1962, by the vote of the mem-
bers thereof:

ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1783 on the 11th
day of December, 1962.
