AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 18, CHAPTER 18,40, SECTION 18.40.010 - USE
OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, Title 18, Chapter 18.40, Zoning Code - C-1,
Neighborhood Commercial Zone, Section 18.40.010 - USE, Para-
graph (1) of the Anaheim Municipal Code reads as follows:
"(1) Any use permitted in the R-3, Multiple -
Family Residential Zone."
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 514 --
Series 1962-63 recommending an amendment of Title 18, Chapter
18.40, Section 18.40.010 - USE of the Anaheim Municipal Code, by
deleting therefrom Paragraph (1), after having held a public
hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and after having received evidence
and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution and recommenda-
tion of the City Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the
4th day of December, 1962, as the time, and the Council Chamber
in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18, Chapter
18.40, Section 18.40.010 - USE of the Anaheim Municipal Code,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to
be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find after careful
consideration of the recommendation of the City Planning
Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing
that said Section 18.40.010 - USE should be amended by deleting
therefrom Paragraph (1).
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18, Chapter 18.40, Section 18.40.010 - USE,
of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended
by deleting therefrom Paragraph (1) which reads as follows:
"(1) Any use permitted in the R-3, Multiple -
Family Residential Zone."

SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by
me this 11th day of December 1962
