AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHr m
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TC ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI Tti' OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No, 351 --
Series 1961-62 in Reclassification No. 61-62-143,
recoTyPrending an amendment of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code.and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in savid
Title 1.8 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and afterr.a> ng received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission -did make findings
and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes
of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, reportof
findipgs, summary of evidence and. recommendation,. of the City
PlannI g Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 17th day of

public hearing upon said proposed amendment to 'Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code.an-d change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Tttle 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place; fixed for said pub is
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public ',:3ringti
and slid give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
shear, and 'clivi receive evidence and deports, and -did thereupon
.consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and
d1d adopt Resolution (s) No-, (s) 62R-659 , finding,
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should'
b4 er'kende'd and that a change or zhanges in the boundaries of said
zoite:or zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s);
and,
WHEREAS, ir, &-ccardance with said ReSolution (s)
62R-659 - , certain conditions and requirements were tote
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
AS, all conditions precedent to said change or
charges of zone or zones have been complied with;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries
of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by_adopting a sectional
Zoning Map or Mapsshowingsuch.change or -changes as -follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
That portion of Lot 12 of Anaheim Extension, as shown
on a map of survey by William -.Hamel, a,copy of which
is shown in book 3, pages 163 to 164, inclusive, of
"Los Angeles County Maps", in the office of the County
Recorder of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the center line of South Street at the
Southwest corner of said Lot 12, and running thence
on the said center line of South Street,
North 7420 East 9.175 chains thence North 1520 West
5.45 chains; thence South-7�1' West 9.175 chains;
and thence South 152" East 5.45 chains to the point
of beginning.
now is R-1, ONE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE and R -O, ONE -FAMILY
SURBURBAN ZONE,and that it be changed to and incorporated in
R-1, ONE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE,
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded. -frog:
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorpo-rated ire anal

City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the'Cit'y Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to -be
added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby_._,approved
and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to beprinted once within
fifteen (15) days after its. adoption, in the'Anaheim Bulletin ,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published an
circulated in .said Gity,- and, thirty (30) days -'from and after its
final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 13th day of November 1962.
