ORDINANCE NO. 1774
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS,•the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 76 --
Series 1961-62 , in Reclassification No. 61-62-20 ,
recommending denial of a change in the boundaries.of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change of
zone or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from
persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make findings,
and a summary of its hearing, and did recommend denial of a change
of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City Plan-
ning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 10th day of
October , 19 61 , as the time, and the ouncil Chamber in
the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and change or changes or zone or zones, and did
give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution(s) No.(s) 7279 , finding and
determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal ode should
be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of said
zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s);and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said resolution(s), certain
conditions and requirements were made as conditions precedent to
the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS.
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim/Municipal Code -relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in --said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:.
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
The westerly 170.00 feet of the south half of
the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter
of the southeast quarter of section 14, Township 4
South, Range 11 incest, in the Rancho Los Coyotes,
city of Anaheim, county of Orange, state of
California., as said section is shown on a map
recorded in book 51 page 11 of Miscellaneous
Maps, In the office of the county recorder of
said county..
EXCEPT the northerly.150.00 feet thereof.
now is R A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL, ZONE and that it be
changed to and incorporated in C-3, HEAVY -COMMERCIAL, ZONE.
SECTION 2.

The City.Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (lq) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.

duced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Anaheim held on the 30th day of October, 1962, and that the same
was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said City
Council held on the 7th day of November, 1962, by the following
vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Dutton, Ghandler, Schutte, Krein and Coons.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENTS COUNCILMEN: None
_AND I FURTHER -CERTIFY -that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1774 on the 7th
day of November, 1962.
