AN ORDINANCE OF THE C i TY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHr- Y -M
MUNICIPAL. CODE RELATING TC ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT -
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 372 -
Series 1961-62 in Reclassification No. 61-62-118
recom.0-nending an amendment of Title 18 of theAnaheim- Municipa
Code,and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in sad d
Title 18 -of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after o.a�.r;ng received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein, and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make findings
and sumMaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes
of zone or zones as set forth In said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation,:of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 17th day of
Jul- , 19 62 , as the time, and the CounZrl.Chamber
in the ity Hall of the City of Anaheim.as the place, fora
public hearing.upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and didA give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fined for said public
hearlttg,. the City Council did hold and conduct such public '."".'aring4
and dict give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be

consider,the recommendation of the City Planning Cotamission, and

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries
of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional
Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as follows.-
That
ollows:That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit:
All that certain land situated in the State of
California, County of Orange, City of Anaheim,
described as follows;
That portion of the West half of the Southeast
quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 7,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S, B, B, & M,,
in the Rancho Los Coyotes, as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous
Maps, records of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the West line of said
West half of the Southeast quarter of the
Southeast quarter of Section 7, distant along
said West line North 00 16t 57" West 40 feet
from the Southwest corner of said West half;
thence parallel with the South line of said
West half, North 890 Oil 59" East 222.78 feet;
thence North 0° 58, 01" -West 7,00 feet to the
beginning of a curve concave Northwesterly and
having a radius of 25 feet, a radial line to said
curve bears South 0° 581 01" East; thence along
said curve, Northeasterly, through a central
angle of 89® 18t 56" an arc distance of 38.97
feet; thence tangent to said curve,
North 00 16t 57" West 194,29 feet; thence
South 89° Olt 59" West 247.40 feet to said West
line; thence along said West line,
South 00 161 57" East 226,00 feet to the point
of beginning.
Except the West 80,00 feet thereof.
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon
the following conditions:
1. That subject property shall be developed substantially
in accordance with plans marked "Exhibits Nos. l and 2"
on file with the City of Anaheim, with the exception
that Parking Space No. 48 shall be deleted and
replaced in part with a strip of landscaping of a
minimum width of six feet; that the patio walls
abutting the Monterey Street right of way shall be
relocated three feet westerly to provide a landscaped
strip of minimum width of three feet abutting
Monterey Street; and that the building, including
any marquees, shall maintain a thirty-five foot
setback from the Lincoln Avenue right of way line.

2. That a landscaped setback area, Of a minimum width
of three and one-half feet, sha-11 be established
and maintained along the -wall on subject property.
3. That a 6 -foot masonry wall shall be constructed
al-ong the norther-ly line -of subject property.
SECTIGN 2.
amended The Ci-ty Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of, -the zone or zone -8 as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare -a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION- 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to -the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) daya after its Adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, publishe-d and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and -after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.

was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council
held on the 30th day.of October, 1962, by the following vote of the
members thereof:

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of -the City of
