AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITE' OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT 1.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No.
150 --Series 1961-62 in Reclassification No. 61-62-43 ,
recommending an amendment of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein, and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make findings
and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes
of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 2nd day of
January , l9 62 , as the time, and the oCuncil Chamber
in the City Hail o.f the City of Anaheim as the place, for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as prodded in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon
consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and
did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 62R-16 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of said
zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s),-
and
esolution(s);and
WHEREAS, in a-cordance with said Resolution (s)
62R-16 , certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones, and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with,

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as fol!Dws,
to wit:
All that certain real property situated in the
Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, in the City
of Anaheim, described as follows;
Beginning at a point 49.25 feet South of the
Northwest corner of the South one-half of the
Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of
Section 12, in Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
San Bernardino Base and Meridian, and running
thence South along the West line of said
Northwest quarter, 85 feet; thence East 150
feet; thence North, parallel with the West
line of said Northwest quarter 85 feet; thence
Nest, 150 feet to the point of beginning,
now is R A, ORES IDEN TIAL -AGR I CULTURAL ZONE, and that it be
changed to and incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL
ZONE, subject to the following conditions.
1. That subject property shall be developed sub-
stantially in accordance with plans marked
"Exhibits 1 and 211 on file with the City of
Anaheim; provided, however, that a landscaped
strip of a minimum width of six feet shall
be provided, and said landscaping maintained,
along the highway right of way line, and that
plans for said landscaping shall be submitted
to and approved by the Superintendent of Parkway
Maintenance of the City of Anaheim. That said
landscaping shall be installed prior to final
building inspection.
2. That adequate areas for trash storage and pickup
shall be provided as determined by the Director
of Public Works and Superintendent of Streets,
which areas shall be enclosed by a solid fence
or wall prior to final building inspection.

SECTION 20
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
Is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 30
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
