AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TC ZONING
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT -
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No, 3oB,
SERIES 1961-62 in Reclassification No. 61-62-99 11

recoending an amendment of Title 18 of the naheim un M paw
Code,and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title I& of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone .or zones, and after ". .rrng received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission -did make findings
and sumMaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes
of zone or zones as set far'th fr. :said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findipgs, summary of evidence and.recommendation,.of the City
P'lann'ing Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 29 th day of
May , 19 62 , as the time, and the ounc i 1 . Chamber
in the City Hall of th�ty of Anaheim as the place, for.a
public hearing upon said proposed Amendment to Title 13 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code,and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did° give notice thereof in the mariner and as provided in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
EREAS, at the time and place fixed for said pubtic
hearIngg. the City Council did hold and conduct such public: '.<::arin%
and did.give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
pheari and 'did :receive evidence and reports, and .did thereupon
considorcthe recommendation of the City Planning Cotamission, and,

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOL Li OWS
SECTIO'11 1.
That Title 1-8 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to .
Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries
of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional
Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to
wit:
Lot No. 1 of Tract No. 21.01, as shown on a
map recorded in Book 76, Pages 32 and 33 of
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County,
California.
now is R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be
changed to and incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE,
upon the following conditions;
1. That subject property shall be developed
substantially in accordance with plans marked
"Exhibits 1 and 2" on file with the City
of Anaheim, with the exception that the private
access drive shall be relocated along the
northerly and easterly boundaries of subject
property, and that perpendicular parking shall
be established at the rear of the proposed
buildings. That a minimum building setback
of six feet shall be established; that said
setback area shall be landscaped, plans for
which landscaping shall be submitted to and
approved by the Superintendent of Parkway
Maintenance, and that said landscaping shall
be installed prior to final building inspection.
2. That tree wells shall be installed at 40 -foot
intervals on the parkway portion of the planned
highway right of way line, which shall also
be landscaped; that plans for said landscaping
shall be submitted to and approved by the
Superintendent of Parkway Maintenance, and
that said landscaping shall be installed
prior to final building inspection.
That a 10 -foot landscaped strip shall be
provided and maintained along the Citron
Street frontage; that plans for said land-
scaping shall be submitted to and approved
by the Superintendent of Parkway Maintenance,
and that said landscaping shall be installed
prior to final building inspection.
3. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible
to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as
determined and required by the Street Maintenance
and Sanitation Division of the Public Works
Department, which areas shall be enclosed by
a solid fence or wall prior to final building
inspection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said

SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.

hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1753 was introduced at a
regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Anaheim held on the
4th day of September, 1962, and that the same was duly passed and adopted
at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 18th day of September,
1962, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Dutton, Chandler, Schutte, Krein and Coons.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1753 on the 18th day of September,
1962.
