AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEilk
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE. CITY Of ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 298--
Series 1961-62 in Reclassification No. 61-62-90
recomiending an amendment of Titie 18 of the AnaKeim Municipdl
Code,and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public -hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title I& of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after "avr=ng received
.evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission -did make findings
and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes
of zone or zones as set forth fr. .said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said .resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation•,: of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 29th day of

in the City Hall of the�ity of Anaheim.as the place, for a
public hearing.upon said proposed amendment to Title l8 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code,and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said pu�'l-ic
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public: ':<:aring,
and did .give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
ibear,t and 'did receive evidence and reports, and .did thereupon
consider,the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and
did adopt Resolution (s) Ifo-. (s) 62R-537 finding,
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim unicipal Code sh-could,

zohe°.ter zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s);
and
WHEREAS, in a, cordance with said' Resolution '(s)
624-5 7 , certain conditions and requirements were ;iaae
as conons precedent to the making of a change or changes of
said zone or zones; and
itiEAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with -
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to
zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the bound-
aries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sec-
tional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as follows:

That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
The Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter
of the Northwest quarter of Section 26, in
Township 4 South, Range 10 gest, in the Rancho
San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as shown on a map
thereof recorded in book 51, page 10, Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County.
now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed
to and incorporated in R-3,--MULTIPLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE,
subject. to the following conditions:
1. That subject property shall be developed,substantially
in -accordance with plans marked -"Exhibits Nos. 1
through 7," on file with the City of Anaheim, with
the exception that a minimum of four (4) different
elevation plans for the development of subject prop-
erty shall be submitted to and approved by the Archi-
tectural Committee, and with the further exception
that a variable front yard building setback of 15 to
20 feet shall be e-stablished where possible, subject
to approval of the Architectural Committee.
2. That the owners of subject property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per dwelling unit,
to be used for park and recreation purposes, said
amount to be paid at the time the building permit
is issued.
3. That the final map of Tract No. 4551 shall be recorded
in the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County
prior to the final reading of the ordinance reclassifying
subject property.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from the zone in which it is now situated and incorporated in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and
said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City
Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map
to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby
approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in.said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final"passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 1751 was
introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Anaheim held on the 28th day of August, 1962, and that the
same was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of said
City'Council held on the 4th day of September, 1962, by the
following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Chandler, Schutte, Krein and Coons.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Dutton.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said Ordinance No. 1751 on the 4th
day of September, 1962.
