17500 ORDINANCE NO. 1750 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY.OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THATa WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 263— Serie s 63 -- Series 1961-62 in Reclassification No. 6 62-§9 , recom�:ending an amendment of 'Title 18 of the Anaheim unicipa�- Code.an,d a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or zones h=ereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said Title I& of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change or changes of zone or ?ones, and after �.3 r - ng received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission -did Make findings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes of zone or zones as set forth ir. 3aid resolution- and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of findings, summary of evidence and. recommendation•: of the City Plann'Ing Commission, the City Clerk did fix the _27th dray of 19 62 , as the time, and the Council.Chamber in the City Hall of the `ity of Anaheim as the place, for a public hearing.upon said proposed amendment to Title 15 of the Anaheim 14unicipal Code.and change or changes of zone or zones, and did^give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Tide 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place' fixed for said pub'l-ic heariatV,. the City Council did hold and conduct such public �,aring' and dill .give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be ,bear. and 'did ,receive evidence and reports, and .did there'u,pon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and dl,d adopt 'Resolution (s) No, (s) 62R-335 , finding, And ,detefmining that Title 18 of the Anaheim unidipal Tode should' rii tthende'd and that a change or -changes in the boundaries of :said . z0ffe.or zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s); and, iEEREAS.i in ziccordance with said Resolution (s) 62R-335 - , certain conditions and requirements were i;aae as con i t ions precedent to the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones; and 4S, all conditions precedent to said chance or changes of zone or zones have been complied with as to the property hereinafter described, and as provided in Condition No. 6 of said Resolution No. 62R-335; -I - 61-62-69 (1) NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by.adopting a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such.change or changes as follows: That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: PARCEL 1• Lots 9 and 10 of Orange Grove Acres, in the City of Anaheim, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 6, Page 42, Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange.County; EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion described as follows: Beginning at the Southeast corner of said Lot 9; thence West along the Southerly boundary line of Lot 9, 570.92 feet to a point on the Southerly boundary line of said Lot 10; thence North 216.85 feet, parallel with the Easterly boundary line of said Lot 10; thence at an angle of 90° East 557.50 feet to a point in the Easterly boundary line of said Lot 9; thence South 95 feet along the Easterly boundary line of said Lot 9 to the true point of beginning. PARCEL 2.: That portion of Lot 20 in Block K of the Kramer Tract, in the City of Anaheim, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 122 Pages 87 and 882 Miscellaneous Records, in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot 20; thence South 73 32' West 37.654 chains (2485.164 feet) to the Southwest corner of Lot 15 in said Block K; thence South 160' 25' 30" East 19.2 chains (1271.358, feet) to the Southerly line of sai. 't 20; thence North 820 13' East�;,:.. 14.091 chains (930.0 et) to the Southeast corner of -'-t id Lot 20; thence. North '3 30' East 31.94 chains (2108.04{''4 feet) to the point of'b- ginning; EXCEPT that portion thereof described as follows:}a Beginning at the Southeasterly corner of said Lot 20; thence South 82 33' 54" West 929.90 feet along the Southerly line of said lot to the Southwesterly corner of said land; thence .North 16° 04' 36" West 62.15 feet along the Westerly line of said land; thence North 740 01' 46" East 1140.40 feet to the Southeasterly line of said Lot 20; thence South 31° 49' 14" West 297.94 feet to the point of beginning, as granted to the State of California, by deed recorded in Book 2744, Page 11, Official Records, in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County; ALSO EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion described as follows: it A strip of land 107.00 feet in width lying 52.50 feet Westerly and 54.50 feet Easterly of the following described line: -2- Beginning at a point in the center line of La Palma Avenue, distant North 73° 09' 45" East 413.52 feet from the center line intersection of La Palma Avenue and Dowling Street, said center line intersection being the Southwest corner of Lot 15 in Block K of said Kraemer Tract; thence South 8° 25' 46" West 1415.55 feet to a point on the center line of the Riverside Freeway, 142.00 feet in width, distant along said center line South 73° 14' 43" West 191.00 feet from State Highway monument with.a brass disk labeled "Station 440+00", as granted to Orange County Flood Con- trol District by deed dated September 9, 1960, and recorded November 101, 1960, in Book 5504, Page 8, Official Records, in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County. now is R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL, ZONE and that.-i:t._be:dhanged to and incorporated in the following zones, upon the conditions hereinafter set forth: That all of the above-described property shall be changed to and incorporated in M-1, Light -Manufacturing Zone, with the exception of those areas lying immediately along and parallel to any arterial streets and highways as designated on the adopted Circulation Element of the General Plan, which areas shall be changed to P -L, Parking -Landscaping Zone, for a depth of 50 feet from the property line after any necessary dedication, upon the following conditions: 1. That all engineering requirements of the City of Anaheim, such as curbs and gutters, sidewalks, street grading and paving, drainage facilities, or other appurtenant work shall be complied with as required by the City Engineer and in accordance with standard plans and specifications on file in the Office of the City Engineer at the time the property is developed. 2. That the owner of the property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $2.00 per front foot for street lighting purposes, said amount to be paid at the time the property is developed. 3. That all plans for development of the property shall be submitted to and approved by the Architectural Control Committee on the basis of compatibility of development, both structurally and architecturally. -3- SECTION 2. The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within. fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
