1748Finance Dir ORDINANCE NO. 1748 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIMFIXING AND LEVYING A PROPERTY TAX ON ALL PROPERTY WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1962-63. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1962-63 of thirty-four cents, five and three -tenths mills ($00.3453) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, for the ordinary annual expenditures of said City. SECTION 2: That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1962-63 of seventeen cents, six and nine -tenths mills ($00.1769) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, for the purpose of maintaining the public library of said City. SECTION 3: That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1962-63 of one and one -tenths mills (00.0011) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, except only the property within the annexed territories as described and approved by Ordinances Nos. 435, 456, 549 and 678, Codes 104, 105 and 111 for the purpose of paying the annual interest of the indebtedness of said City; incurred for the purpose of park improvements, together with one -fortieth (1140) of said indebtedness. SECTION 4: That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1962-63 of five -tenths mills ($00.0005) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, except only the property within the annexed territories as described and approved by Ordinances Nos. 435, 456, 549 and 678, Codes 104, 105 and 111 for the purpose of paying the annual interest of the indebtedness of said City, incurred for the purpose of the completion of the City Hall, together with one -fortieth of said indebtedness. SECTION 5: That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1962-63 of one and eight -tenths mills ($00.0018) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, except only the property within the annexed territories as described and approved by Ordinances Nos. 4351 456, 549 and 678, Codes 104, 105 and 111 for the purpose of paying the annual interest of the indebtedness of said City, incurred for the purpose of joint sewer construction, together with one - fortieth (140) of said indebtedness. SECTION 6: That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1962-63 of two cents and eight -tenths mills ($00.0208) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim for the purpose of paying the annual interest of the indebtedness of said City, incurred for the purpose of the 1951 Sewer Construction Bond Fund, together with one -twenty-sixth (126) of said indebtedness. SECTION 7: That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1962-63 of one cent, two and nine -tenths mills ($00.0129) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim for the purpose of paying the annual interest of the indebtedness of said City, incurred for the purpose of the 1952 water works extension, together with one -twentieth (120) of said indebtedness. SECTION 8• That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1962-63 of one cent, two and nine -tenths mills ($00.0129) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim for the purpose of paying the annual interest of the indebtedness of said City, incurred for the purpose of the 1952 electric works extension, together with one -twentieth (120) of said indebtedness. SECTION 9: That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1962-63 of nine cents, one and two-tenths mills ($00.0912) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim for the purpose of paying the annual interest of the indebtedness of said City, incurred for the purpose of the 1955 municipal improvements, together with one -twentieth (120) of said indebtedness. SECTION 10: That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1962-63 of twenty-two cents, seven and nine - tenths mills ($00.2279) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim for the purpose of paying the annual interest of the indebtedness of said City, incurred for the purpose of the 1960 municipal improvements, Series "A," together with one twentieth (120) of said indebtedness. -2- SECTION 11: That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1962-63 of five cents, eight and seven -tenths mills ($00.0587) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim for the purpose of paying the annual interest of the indebtedness of said City, incurred for the purpose of the 1960 municipal improvements, Series "B", together with one -twentieth (120) of said indebtedness. SECTION 12• That there be andherebyis fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year -1,962-63 of ten cents, two andsix-tenths mills ($00.1026) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim for the purpose of paying eighteen months interest of the indebtedness of said City, incurred for the purpose of the 1960 municipal improvements, Series "C", together with one -twentieth (120) of said indebtedness. __ SECTION 13: That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1962-63 of four cents, seven and four -tenths mills ($00.0474) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim for the purpose of paying the annual interest of the indebtedness of said City, incurred for the purpose of the 1960 parksites acquisition and improvements, together with one -twentieth (120) of said indebtedness. SECTION 14: That the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim shall certify to the County Auditor of Orange County, the foregoing distribution of the tax rate of the City of Anaheim to be extended by him on the 1962-63 County Assessment Roll for the collection thereof in the same manner as County taxes. SECTION 15: That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and immediately upon and after its final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
