ORD INANCE NO. 1744
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, -the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 12 --
Series 1961-62 , in Reclassification No. 61-62-39
recommending denial of a change in the boundarlesof the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change of
zone or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from
persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make findings,
and a summary of its hearing, and did recommend denial of a change
of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City Plan-
ning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 28th day of
November , 19 61 , as the time, and the Council Chamber in
the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public
hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code and change or changes or zone or zones, and did
give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18
of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and.conduct such public hear-
ing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did there-
upon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission,
and did adopt Resolution(s) No.(s)!.0 , finding and
determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim should
be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of said
zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s);and
WHEREAS, in accordance with said resolution(s), certain
conditions and requirements were made as conditions precedent to
the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones; and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange,, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
Lots 1 and 2 of Tract No._374 as shown on
a map recorded in Bock 15, Page 280 -Mis-
cellaneous Maps, records of -Orange County,,
California.
now is R--21 IWO-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE and that it be
changed to and incorporated in C--31 HKXi Y-C)NNERCI A;L ZONE,
subject to the following conditions:
I. That subject property shall be developed sub-
stantially in accordance with plans marked
"Exhibits 1, 2, 3 and 4" on file with the -
City of Anaheim.
2. That any lights installed on, subject property
shall be so directed -as not to shine into any
of the dwellings surrounding the property.
SECTION 2,
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded _
from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated
in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth,
and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and
the City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional
zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the
changes hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
