AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING TITLE l 8 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL. CODE RELATING TO ZONTING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT-.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No. 177 --
Serie -z 1961-62 in Reclassification No. 61-62-48 ,
recommending an amendment of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or
zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a
public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said
Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed
change or changes of zone or zones, and after having .received
evidence and reports from persons interested therein, and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make findings
and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes
of zone or zones as set forth in said resolution, and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of
findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City
Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fisc the 30th day of
January '19 62, as the time, and the Council Chamber
in the City Hall ofthe City of Anaheim as the place, for a
public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones,
and did give notice thereof in'the manner and as provided in
said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing
and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be
heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon
consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and
did adopt Resolution (s) No. (s) 62R-81 , finding
and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should
be amended and that a change or changes in the boundaries of said
zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s),
and
62R-81 WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolution (s)
certain conditions and requirements were made
as conditions precedent to the snaking of a change or changes of
said zone or zones, and
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or
changes of zone or zones have been complied with,-

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
That portion of the Northeast quarter of
the Northeast quarter of Section 15,
Township 4 South, Range 11 Nest, San
Bernardino Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the East line of
said Section 15, 264 feet North of the
Southeast corner of the Northeast quarter
of the Northeast quarter of said Section 15;
running thence North 80 feet to a point;
thence Nest 630 feet to a point; thence
South 344 feet to a point in the.South line
of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast
quarter of said Section 15; thence East
300 feet to a point 330 feet rest of the South-
east corner of the Northeast quarter of the North-
east quarter of said Section 15; thence North
264 feet to a point; thence East 330 feet
to the point of beginning.
now is R -A, RES IDENTI.A,L-AGRICULTURAL, ZONE and that it be
changed to and incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL,
ZONE, subject to the following conditions:
1. That subject property shall be developed sub-
stantially in accordance with plans marked
"Exhibits Nos. 1 and 2,11 on file with the
City of Anaheim.
2. That landscaping shall be installed and main-
tained in the proposed entrance way of subject
property in accordance with Exhibits Nos. 1 and
2 on file with the City of Anaheim, and that
said landscaping shall be installed prior to
final building inspection.
3. That the owners of subject property shall pay
to the City of Anaheim the sum of $25.00 per
dwelling unit to be used for park and recreation
purposes, said amount to be paid at the time
the building permit is issued.
4. That adequate trash storage areas, accessible
to trash truck pickup, shall be provided as
it determined and required by the Street Maintenance
and Sanitation Division of the Public Works De-
partment, which areas shall be enclosed by a
solid fence or wall prior to final building
inspection.

5. That plans for the installation of carports
shall be submitted to and approved by the Building
and Planning Departments of the City; and .
That the rear wall of the proposed carports may
be constructed on the location of the wall re-
quired by the Anaheim Municipal Code, in which
event said rear wall shall be equivalent, at
least, to a 6 -foot masonry wall.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded
from the zone in which it is -now situated and incorporated in
and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and
said City Zoning Map, as amended, is hereby adopted, and the
City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional
zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the
changes hereby approved and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper,of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage, it shall take effect,and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE. is approved and signed by
