1732i ORDINANCE NO. 1732 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY.OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND THAT - WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolution No, 286-- Series 1261-62 in Reclassification No. 61-62--88 - , recomrp^end'ing an amendment of T itie 18 of the Anaheim unicipa Code,and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a public -hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in savid Title l& of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change or changes of zone or zones, and after haT ng received evidence and reports from persons interested therein, and WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission -did make findings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes of zone or zones as set fo-rth ir. said resolution; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, report of findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 22nd dray of Mav 19 62 , as the time, and theMneil.Chamber In the City Hall of the Tit, of Anaheim as the place, for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code.and change or changes of zone or zones, and did^ give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public ' ,r.ar ing, and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be ,hear.e and 'did :.receive evidence and reports, and .dad thereupon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Cotamission, and djJ adopt. Resolution (s) No:, (s) 62R-r�06 , finding. and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should.' aiaended and that a -change or =changes in the boundaries of said. zonfe.or zones should be made as set forth in said resolution(s)9 and WHEREAS, in a�ccardance with said Resolution '(s) 62R-506 certain conditions and requirements were made as coRaltions precedent to the malting of a change or changes of said zone or zones; and FV__<EAS, all conditions precedent to said change or changes of zone or zones have been complied w-ith; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as follows: That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: Lot 139 in Tract No. 2779, as shown on a map recorded in Book 92, Pages 35 to 40, both inclusive of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California. now is R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions 1. That any signs installed on subject property shall be unlighted and limited to signs placed inside windows, doors and building entranceways, with one free-standing sign for the purpose of identification shingles, each shingle not to exceed six inches by thirty inches; that no flags, banners or rotating lights shall be erected; and further, that subject property shall be developed substantially in accordance with revised plans as submitted. 2. That a landscaped strip, of a, minimum width of six feet, shall be provided and maintained abutting the planned highway right of way line on Euclid Street; that plans for said landscaping shall be submitted to and approved by the Superintendent of Parkway Maintenance; and that said landscaping shall be installed prior to final building inspection, 3. That the uses of subject property shall be limited to business and professional offices only. 1_. That a block wall, of a minimum height of 3 feet, shall be constructed along the westerly boundary of subject property prior to final building inspection. 5, That use of existing structures on subject property shall be subject to the approval of the Chief Building Inspector, b. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as determined and required by the Street Maintenance and Sanitation Division of the Public Works Department, which areas shall be enclosed by a solid fence or wall prior to final building inspection. IME SECTION 2. The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning„Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer Is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published,and: circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from,,' and, ter its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
