1731I 41 ORDINANCE NO, 1731 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND t#VA W WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did heretofore duly pass and adopt Resolutions Nos. 27 and 173, Series 1961-62 in Reclassification No. F-61-62-8 recommending an amendment of Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and a change or changes in the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, after having held a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to consider such proposed change or changes of zone or zones, and after having received evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission did make finaings and summaries of its hearings and did recommend a change or changes of zone or zones as set forth in said resolutions; and WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution No. 27, report of findings, summary of evidence and recommendation of the City Planning Commission, the City Clerk did fix the 29th day of August, 1961 as the time, and the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place, for a public hearing upon said proposed amendment to Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and change or changes of zone or zones, and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did hold and conduct such public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an oppor- tunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon consider the recommendation of the City Planning Commission, and did adopt Resolutions Nos. 7148 and 7425 finding and determining that Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code should be amended and that a change or changesin the boundaries of said zone or zones should be made as set forth in said resolutions; and WHEREAS, in accordance with said Resolutions 7148 and 7425, certain conditions and requirements were made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones; and r�[HEREAS, all conditions precedent to said change or changes of zone or zones have been complied with; -1- 61-62-8 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional Zoning Map or Maps showing such change or changes as follows That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: -2- PARCEL 10 (a) That portion of Lot 29 of Anaheim Extension, as per map by William Hamel filed for record in the Office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, a copy thereof being on file in the office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California, in book 3, pages 163 et seq, of Los Angeles County Maps, as follows-. Beginning at the center line intersection of Vermont Avenue (formerly Broad Street), and Citron Street, as shown on said map; thence South 150 388 1011 East, along the center line of said Citron Street, 243,00 feet; thence South 740 278 141" West251,19 feet to a line parallel with the Northeasterly line of the land conveyed to the State of California, by deed recorded March 19, 1951 in Book 2160, page 280 of Official Records, and distant Northeasterly therefrom 20,00 feet, measured at right angles* thence North 400 528 2011 West, along said parallel line 216,54 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Easterly and having a radius of 10,00 feet; thence Northerly along said curve, through a central angle of 1150 198 34",-a distance of 20013 feet to a point on the South line of Vermont Street, 66 feet wide; thence North 15° 328 4611 West 33,00 feet to the center line of said Vermont Street; thence North 740 27Q 14" East, along said center line, 334,40 feet to the point of beginning, Except the Easterly 160 feet of the Northerly 183 feet thereof measured along and from the center line of streets adjoining. Also excepting therefrom that portion lying Southerly of the following described line: Beginning at a paint in said center line of Citron Street, said point being South 150 388 1011 East 183,00 feet from said center line intersection of Citron Street and Vermont Street; thence.South 740 278 14t1 West parallel with said center line of Vermont Street to a point in said Northeasterly line of the lana conveyed to the State of California, (b) That portion of Lot 29.of Anaheim Extension, as shown on a Map of Survey made by William Hamel and filed in the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, a copy of which is shown in Book 3, pages 163 et seq. entitled "Los Angeles County Maps," records of said Orange County, together with that portion of Citron Street abandoned by the Board of Supervisors by petition filed May 7 1913 In Road Book 2, page 234 in the office of the County Clerk of said Orange County, described as follows.. Beginning at a point in the center line of Citron Street, said point being South 150 388 10" East 183,00 feet from the point of intersection of said Citron Street with the center line of Vermont Street (formerly Broad Street) thence continuing South 150 388 101! East 133,23 feet; thence South 740 278 14" West parallel with said center line of Vermont Avenue, 216,65 feet to a point in a line parallel with and distant North- easterly 20,00 feet from the Northeasterly line of the -3- land described in deeds to the State of California recorded in Book'21600 page 280 and in Book 3435, page 472 of Official Records; thence North 40° 521 20" West along said parallel line to a line that bears South 740 271 14" West from the point of beginning; thence North 74° 271 14n East to the point of beginning. PARCEL 2; That portion of Lot 29 of Anaheim Extension, as s o n o a Map made by William Hamel, filed for record In the office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the center line of Broad Street, with the center line of Citron Street, as shown on said map, said Citron Street having since been abandoned by order of the Board of Supervisors of Orange County, and running thende Westerly along the centerline of Broad Street, 160 feet; thence Southerly parallel with the center line of Citron Street, 183 feet; thence Easterly parallel with the -.,center line of Broad Street, to the center line of Citron Street; thence Northerly along the center line of Citron Street to the point of beginning, now is R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and R -A, RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and incorporated in C-1, NEIGHBORHOOD -COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the following conditions: 1. That subject property be developed sub- stantially in accordance with Exhibits "A" and "B" on file with the City of Anaheim and by reference made a part hereof. 2. That parking spaces be provided in accor- dance with the requirements of the Anhheim Municipal Code. 3. That landscaping be provided and maintained in those areas indicated for landscaping on Exhibits "All and "B" on file with the City of Anaheim, and that plans for said landscaping be submitted to and approved by the Superintendent of Parkway Maintenance of the City of Anaheim. ME SECTION 2. The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and adopted. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, inthe Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and: circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from,and,after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
