AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
ARTICLE VII, CHAPTER 2, SECTION 7200.2 OF THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE, AND ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER
1, SECTION 9100.7 OF SAID CODE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Article VII, Chapter 2, Section 7200.2 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended to
read as follows:
" SECTION 7200.2. PERMIT. FEES.
" (a) Before commencing construction within dedicated
right of ways, streets, alleys or easements,
every person shall first make application. to the
City Engineer for a permit to do the work. Before
a permit is issued, the person making application
shall pay the City the following fees:
" (b) For every piece . of curb and gutter,
a fee of $0.04 per lineal foot.
" (c) For every pieceof sidewalk,
a fee of $0 01 per square foot.
" (d) For everypiece of pavement,
a fee of $0 0025 per square foot.
U ( e) For every cross gutter,
a fee of . . . . . . . . .
" ( f) For every manhole and catch basin,
within dedicated right of ways or
private property,
a fee of . . . . . . . . $5.00.
" (g) For every sewer lateral and storm drain,
a fee of 85.00.
" (h) For every driveway,
a fee of $3.00.
" ( i) For every permit, .
a fee of . . a . . . . . . $1.00.
" ( j ) If after a permit has been issued to do work under
the provisions of this Chapter the construction of
the work shall not be commenced within sixty days
after the date thereof, then such permit shall be
• void and before such work may be commenced a new
permit shall be issued and the usual fee paid therefor.
' (k) The City Engineer shall keep in proper books for that
purpose, an accurate account of all fees paid, giving
the name of the party, date, and amount of such fees,
which books shall be kept open for public inspection.

° (1) Unnecessary reinspections shall be made at the
rate of $3.00 per hour, with a minimum of $3.00. "
• SECTION 2.
That Article IX, Chapter 1, Section 9100.7 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be and the same is hereby, amended by
adding thereto Paragraph ' (c) , a reading as. follows:
1SECTION 9100.7. UTILITY EASEMENTS.
° (c) Easements shall be cleared of all obstructions by
the person or persons providing said easement, at
no expense to the City of Anaheim.'
SECTION 9.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption
of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once
within fifteen (15 ) days from and after the date of its adoption
in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation,
printed, published and circulated in the City of Anaheim, and
thirty (30) days . from and after its passage it shall be in full
force and effect.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me this
28th day of January , 1958.
