AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF - ANAHEIM - AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 1.61, AS,`
AMENDED, OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM, PERTAINING TO
THE SALARY OF THE CITY
TREASURER.
'THE CItY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ' ANAHEIM DOES OR-
DAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 3 of
Ordinance No: 16.1, .as amended, of
the. City of Anaheim, entitled, "An
Ordinance Fixing Compensation `
of Certain Officers of the City of
Anaheim," be and the same is
hereby amended to read as fol-
lows: That the compensation of ,
the City Treasurer of said City of
Anaheim is hereby fixed at One
H-=dred Dollars ( $100.00) per
nmoli#i. payable monthly.
SECTION 2. The rate of com- •
pensation for City Treasurer,
hereby fixed, shall not take effect, '
until the beginning of the suc-
cetding term of office of City
Treasurer of the City of Anaheim, � `x
commencing in April, 1940.
SECTION 3. All ordinances
and parts of ordinances in conflict
with the provisions of this ordin-
ance'are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk f

and cause the .same to be publish-
jed once in the Anaheim Gazette, a
weekly newspaper of general cir-
