FOLLOWS: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 4092 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND- <br />ING SUBSECTION .020 OF SECTION 3.24.010 OF <br />CHAPTER 3.243 TITLE 39 OF THE ANAHEIM <br />MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO AMUSEMENT DEVICES. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS <br />SECTION 1. <br />That Subsection .020 of <br />Title 3, of the Anaheim Municipal <br />amended to read as follows: <br />Section 3.24.010 of Chapter 3.249 <br />Code be, and the same is hereby, <br />11.020 No person shall conduct, carry on or man- <br />age the business of, or maintain any of the amusement <br />or recreational devices or mechanical devices, or con- <br />duct any of the games or exhibitions above mentioned, <br />with the exception of machines for the dispensing of <br />music, within 600 feet of any school, whether or not <br />such device contains any pay-off device for the return <br />of slugs, coin, money, checks, tokens or merchandise; <br />provided, however, that the provisions of this subsec- <br />tion may be waived by the City Council upon finding <br />that such activity would not be detrimental to the <br />public welfare and morals, and upon approval of the <br />affected school district." <br />SECTION 2. <br />The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this or- <br />dinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen <br />(15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper <br />of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said <br />City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage, it <br />shall take effect and be in full force. <br />THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by the <br />City Council of the City of Anaheim this 8th 'day of January, 1980. <br />ATTEST: <br />1EAJ a&4AZ <br />ITY‚ÄĘCLERK OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM <br />JLW : fm <br />
