AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
SECTION 18.04.04.3.102 OF CHAPTER 18.04, SECTION
18.22.030.030 OF CHAPTER 18.22, SECTION
18.23..03.0.030 OF CHAPTER 18.23, AND ADDING
SECTION 18.22.064.100 TO CHAPTER 18.22 AND
SECTION 18.23.064.100 TO CHAPTER 18.23, OF TITLE
18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO
ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Section 18.04.043.102 of Chapter 18.04, Title
18, of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby,
amended to read as follows:
".102 Fences Walls and Hed es in Rear and Side
Yards. Fences, walls or hedges not to exceed six
feet in height may be permitted in any required rear
or side yard; provided, however, that within the required
street side setback of any reversed corner lot or reversed
building frontage on a normal corner lot, no fence, wall
or hedge shall exceed forty-two (42) inches in height.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, a chain link fence not
exceeding ten (10) feet in height shall be permitted in
any required rear or side yard, except the street side
of any reversed corner lot, provided said fence is used
as part of the enclosure of a tennis or paddleball court."
SECTION 2.
That Sections 18.22.030.030 and 18.23.030.030 of
the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same are hereby, amended
to read as follows:
".030 Recreation buildings and structures
including, but not limited to swimming pools, cabanas,
dressing rooms, private noncommercial workshops,
tennis courts, and paddleball courts."
SECTION 3.
That new subsection .100 be, and the same is hereby
added to Sections 18.22.064 and 18.23.064 of the Anaheim
Municipal Code to read as follows:
11.100 Tennis and paddleball courts."

SEC'T'ION 4..
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
