4230ORDINANCE NO. 4230
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
REPEALING SECTION 4.24.010, CHAPTER 4.24,
OF TITLE 4 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
AND ADDING A NEW SECTION 4.24.010 IN ITS
PLACE AND STEAD RELATING TO POOLROOMS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 4, Chapter 4.24, of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be amended by repealing Section 4.24.010, and adding
thereto a new Section 4.24.010 to read as follows:
"4.24.010 POOLROOM
For the purpose of this Chapter, a "poolroom"
is defined to be any place open to the public where
billiards, pool or bagatelle is played on three or more
tables in any business establishment where the general
public is allowed to play therein, whether any compensa-
tion or reward is charged for the use of such tables
or not."
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 26th day of
May, 1981.
