AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF A14AIlEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution
No. 68R-438 determining that a change
or changes ince zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and
described should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
Lots 3 and 4 in Block B of the Kroeger's Subdivision of
Vineyard Lot D1, in the City of Anaheim, as shown on a
map thereof recorded in book 5, page 34, Miscellaneous
Maps, records of said Orange County.
now is R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be
changed to and incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE,
upon the following conditions:
1. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accord-
ance with approved plans on file in the Office of the Director
of Public Works.
2. That all air-conditioning facilities shall be
properly shielded from view and the sound buffered from adjacent
residential homes.
3. That all external lighting shall be directed downward
and away from abutting parcels.

4. That any structures which are converted from
residential to commercial uses shall be brought up to the
minimum standards of the Uniform Building, Plumbing and
Electrical Codes, as adopted by the City of Anaheim, for
commercial buildings.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoningap shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning %ap as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed.to pre -pare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me

at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 21st day of October,

ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Krein
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim

1969.
