AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF A 4AIlEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF A14AHLIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution
No. 70R-101 determining that a change
or changes in a zone or zones-Tereinafter mentioned and
described should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with. '
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COU14CIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
PORTION B
That portion of Lot 25 of Anaheim Extension, in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on
a Map of Survey made by William Hamel and filed in the office
of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, a
copy of which is shown in Book 3, page 163 et seq., entitled
"Los Angeles County Maps", records of said Orange County, des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 1 of Tract No. 1245,
as per Map recorded in Book 43, page 27 of Miscellaneous Maps,
in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange County;
thence South 741 28' 00" West 136.00 feet to the east line
of Los Angeles Street, now known as Anaheim Boulevard, as shown
on said map; thence North 150 32' 15" West 67.00 feet to the
intersection of said east line with the south line of Vermont
Avenue, as shown on said map; thence North 741 28' 00" East
136.00 feet to the northerly prolongation of the east line
of said Lot 1; thence South 15° 32' 15" East 67.00 feet to
the point of beginning.
Said land is shown on a map filed in Book 25, page 49 of Record
of Surveys, in the office of the County Recorder of said County.

now is R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, and that it be
changed to and incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE,
subject to the following conditions:
1. That trash storage areas -shall be provided in accord-
ance with approved plans on file with the Office of
the Director of Public Works.
2. That all air-conditioning facilities shall be properly
shielded from view.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby.approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its
final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me

at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Anaheim, held
on the 9th day of February, 1971, and that the same was duly passed
and adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 18th
day of May, 1971, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Roth, Stephenson, Pebley, Thom and Dutton
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim;
approved and signed said Ordinance No. 2909 on the 18th day of
May, 1971.
