AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF A 4AIlEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MU14ICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHLIM DOES FI14D
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution
140. 70R-477 determining that a change
or c angel in the zone or zones -hereinafter mentioned and
described should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COU14CIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the West half of the
Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of Section 21,
Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and
Meridian, and running from said point 284.00 feet; thence
South 00 13' 30" East 459.00 feet; thence South 890 25' 15"
West 284.00 feet to the West line of the West half of the
Northeast quarter of the Northwest quarter of said Section
21, and thence North 00 13' 30" West along said West line,
459.00 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the following:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Northeast quarter
of the Northwest quarter of Section 21, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, running
thence South 00 13' 30" East 459.00 feet along the West line
of said Northeast quarter; thence North 8910 25' 15" East
284.00 feet parallel to the North line of said Northeast
quarter; thence North 00 13' 30" East 96.00 feet, parallel to
said West line of said Northeast quarter; thence South 890

251 15" West 120.00 feet parallel to said North line; thence
North 00 131 3011 East 363.00 feet parallel to said West line
to a point in the said North line and thence South 89* 36'
15" West 164.00 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING ALSO THE North 30 feet.
now is R -A, AGRICULTURAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and
incorporated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, upon the
following conditions:
1. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accord-
ance with approved plans on file with the office of
the Director of Public Wor-j,:s.
2. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and
determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire
Department.
3. That a 6 -foot masonry wall shall be constructed along
the south property line.
4. That all air-conditioning facilities shall be properly
shielded from view and the sound buffered from adjacent
residential uses.
5. That subject property shall be served by underground
utilities.
6. That the owner of subject property shall pay to the
City of Anaheim the appropriate park and recreation
in -lieu fees as determined to be appropriate by the
City Council, said fees to be paid at the time the
building permit is issued.
7. That Conditions Nos. 1, 22, 3, 4, and 5, above mentioned,
shall be complied with nrior to final building and
zoning inspections.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning slap shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the Cit17 Engineer
is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added
to the City Zoning asap showing the changes hereby approved and
adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to t1fte passag-1, of t1.is
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, puAished and circu-
lated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final
passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
