2853AS FOLLOWS: ORDINANCE NO. 2853 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FIXING AND LEVYING A PROPERTY TAX ON ALL PROPERTY WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1970-71. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN SECTION 1 That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1970-71 of seventy cents ($00.7000 on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, for the ordinary annual expenditures of said City. SECTION 2. That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1970-71 of thirty-five cents ($00.3500) on each one hundred dollars ($100) of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, for the purpose of paying the annual interest on bonds and such part of the principal as will become due before the proceeds of the next general tax levy will be available. SECTION 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim shall certify to the County Auditor of Orange County, the foregoing dis- tribution of the tax rate of the City of Anaheim to be extended by him on the 1970-71 County Assessment Roll for the collection thereof in the same manner as County Taxes. SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and immediately upon and after its final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
