AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING SECTION 7.16.120 OF THE
ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE,
WHEREAS, Section 7.16.120 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
was originally passed prior to the advent of the City of Anaheim
Convention Center and other facilities; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the
City of Anaheim for the provisions of Section 7.16.120 to be
applicable to these other facilities.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Section 7.16.120 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be,
and the same is hereby, amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 7.16.120 POSSESSION OF INTOXICATING LIQUOR -
PLACES RESTRICTED.
It shall be unlawful for any person to bring, carry,
transport into, or possess any intoxicating liquor
in a container made of metal, glass, or other
similar substance within any stadium, exhibition
hall, arena, or convention center owned or operated
by the City of Anaheim provided, however, this pro-
vision shall not apply to any person who has received
permission from the City of Anaheim so to do or to
any concessionaire lawfully doing business in any
such place or any intoxicating beverages obtained from
such concessionaire.
"Intoxicating liquor" is defined as any liquor defined
by the Liquor Control Act of the State of California
as intoxicating."
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fif-
teen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a
newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circu-
lated in the City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final
passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me this
1st day of September , 1970.

AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Ordinance No. 28517 on the 1st day of September,
1970.
