2848ORDINANCE NO. 2848
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 18, CHAPTERS 18.13,
18.16, 18.18, 18.20 AND 18.64 OF THE ANAHEIM
MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18, Chapter 18.13, Section 18.13.020, Sub-
section (B) (4) of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same
is hereby, amended as follows;
"Section 18.13.020 PERMITTED USES.
"(B)(4) R -H, 10,000 - Residential Hillside - Low Density
Single -Family Zone The keeping of animals in
accordance with. Section 18.04.020(6) - General."
SECTION 2.
That Title 18, Chapter 18.16, Section 18.16.030, Sub-
section (5) (8) (9) and Section 18.16.040, Subsection (3) of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended as
follows;
"Section 18.16.030 PERMITTED BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES AND
USES.
"(5) R -A, Agricultural Zone The keeping of animals
in accordance with Section 18.04.020(6) - General."
"(8) R -A, Agricultural Zone - Housing and storage for
crop products produced on the premises; provided,
however, that buildings or structures for such
purposes shall not be located within 40 feet of
any other residential zone or any window or door
of any building used for human habitation or
assembly or within 20 feet of side lot lines or
40 feet of a front lot line."
"'(9) R -A, Agricultural Zone - Delete."
"Section 18.16.040 CONDITIONAL BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES
AND USES.
"(3) R -A, Agricultural Zone - Commercial equestrian
establishments, provided, however, that in no
case shall permanent maintenance or stabling of
horses, storage of feed, riding arenas, or storage
or maintenance of equipment be permitted within
300 feet of the boundary of any residential zone."
SECTION 3_
That Title 18, Chapter 18.18, Section 18.18.020, Sub-
sections (3)(b) and (3)(d) of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and
the same is hereby, amended as follows;

"Section 18.18.020 PERMITTED BUILDINGS AND USES
'1(3) (b) R -E, Residential Estate Zone - The keeping of
animals in accordance with Section 18.04.020(6) -
General."
"(3) (d) Delete."
SECTION 4.
That Title 18, Chapter 18.20, Section 18.20.010, Sub-
section (5) of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is
hereby, amended as follows:
"Section 18.20.010 USE
1(5) R-0, One -Family Suburban Zone - The keeping of
animals in accordance with Section 18.04.020(6) -
General."
SECTION 5.
That Title 18, Chapter 18.64, Section 18.64.020(3)(c)
and (3)(i) of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is
hereby, amended as follows:
"Section 18.64.020 USE
11(3) (c) Conditional Uses - Animal hospitals and commercial
kennels."
"(3) (i) Commercial equestrian establishments."
SECTION 6.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circu-
lated in the City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final
passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
this 18th day of August , 19 70 .

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Thom
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Ordinance No. 2848 on the 18th day of August,
1970.
