2843ORDINANCE NO. 2843 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND- ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO ZONING. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF A14AHEIM DOES FIND THAT: WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution No. 69R--366 determining that a change or changes in the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation of the City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com- plied with. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes as follows: That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: The South half of the North 198.00 feet of the South 483.00 feet of the South half of the East half of the Northeast quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 4 South, Range 11 West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as said sec- tion is shown on a map recorded in Book 51, page 11 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, said land is included within the area of a map filed in Book 36, page 22 of Record of Surveys, in the Office of said County Recorder. now is R -A, AGRICULTU.AL ZONE and that it be changed to and incor- porated in R-3, MULTIPLE -FAMILY RESIDENTIAL ZONE, subject to the following conditions: 1. That trash storage areas shall be provided in accordance with approved plans on file in the Office of the Director of Public Works. 2. That fire hydrants shall be installed as required and determined to be necessary by the Chief of the Fire Department. -1- 68-69-89 3. That any air-conditioning facilities proposed shall be properly shielded from view, and the sound shall be buffered from adjacent residential homes. 4. That any parking areas shall be lighted with down - lighting of a maximum height of six (6) feet, which lighting shall be directed away from the property lines to protect the residential integrity of the area. 5. That the owner of subject property shall acquire access to the alley along the west boundary of subject property. 6. That Conditions Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, above-mentioned shall be complied with prior to final building and zoning inspections. 7. That the owner of subject property shall pay to the City of Anaheim the sum of $75.00 per apartment unit, to be used for park and recreation purposes, said amount to be paid at the time the building permit is issued. SECTION 2. The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby, amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be added to the City Zoning l-Iap showing the changes hereby approved and adopted. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
