An ordinance fixing and levying apIo -
ertT tax on all property within the corporate
limits of the City of Anaheim, for the fiscal
year of 1902-1903.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Ana -
helm do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That there be and hereby is fixed
and levied aproperty tax for the fiscal year
of 1902-1903 of sixty-five cents on each one
hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of
all real and personal property within the
corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, for
the ordinary annual expenditures of said
city.
SEC. 2. That there be and is hereby fixed
and levied a property tax for the fiscal year
of 1902-1903 of twenty cents on each one hun-
dred dollars of the assessed valuation of all
real and personal property within thecor-
porate limits -of the City of Anaheim, for the
purposes of paying the annual interest of
the indebtedness of the City of Anaheim, in-
curred for the purpose of constructing a;
City Hall, for the extension and completion;
of the city water works, for the grading and _
improvement of streets and the purchase of
property for' the fire department, together
with one -twentieth of said indebtedness.
SEC. 3. That there be and is hereby fixed
and levied aproperty tax for the fiscal year
of 1902-1903 of nine cents on each one hundred
dollars of the. assessed valuation of all real
andpersonal; property wititin the corporate
limits of the Citp of. Anaheim, for the pur.-
- rMVpaying the annual interest of the in-
debtedness of the City of. Anaheim, incurred
for theppurpose of constructing and erecting
a cityy electric light plant ,together with o ne-
fortieth of -such indebted{ ess.
SEC. 4.. That there be and hereby is fixed
and levied:a pGroperty tax for the fiscal year
of 1902-1903,of- twenty-four cents on each one
hundred dollars-ot the assessed valuation of
aM real and personal property within the
corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, for
the purpose of paying the annual interest of
the Indebtedness of the City of Anaheim, in-
curred for the ppurpose of the extension and
I . rovement of the city water works, and
for the extension of the city electric light
plant, together with one -fortieth of such In-
debtedness.
SEC. 5: That there be and is hereby fixed
and levied a property tax for the fiscal year
of 1902-1903 of seven rents oneach one hun-
dred dollars. of the assessed valuation of all
real and personal property within the cor-
porate limats of the City of Anaheim, for the
purpose of maintaining the Public Library
of the City of Anaheim.
SEC. 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the
assage of this ordinance, and cause the

Co be published once in the ANeHEIat WEEKLY
GAZETTE, a newspaper printed, published
' and circulated in the City of Anaheim, and
thereupon and thereafter it shall take effect

nance was introduced- at a meeting of the
Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim,
held on the 20th day of August, 1902, and that

ORDINANCE NUMBER
An Ordinance fixing and levying a property tax on all property
within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, for the fiscal
year of 1902-1903.
The Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim do ordain as
follows: -
Section I. --That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a
property tax for the fiscal year of I902 -I903, of
cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of all
real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City
of Anaheim for the ordinary annual expenditures of said city.
Section 2. ---That there be and is hereby fixed and levied a
property tax for the fiscal year of I902-1903, of
cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of all
real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City
of Anaheim, for the purposes of paying the annual interest of the
indebtedness of the City of Anaheim incurred for the purpose of con-
structing a City Hall, for the extension and completion of the City
Mater forks, for the grading and improvement of -streets and the pur-
chase of property for the Fire Department together with one twentieth
of said indebtedness.
Sect%on 3. ---`that there be and is hereby fixed and levied a
property tax for the fiscal year of I902 -I903, of £,,
cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of all
real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City
of Anaheim for the purpose of paying the annual interest of the in-
debtedness of the City of Anaheim, incurred for the purpose of con-
structing and erecting a city electric light plant, together with
one fdrtieth of such indebtedness.
Section 4. --That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a
property tax for the fiscal year of I902 -I903, of

Meekly Gazette, a newspaper printed, published and circulated in
the City of Anahe:Lii, and thereupon and thereafter it shall take
