That the public interest and conveni- ence require, and tb at the said Boai d of Trustees hereby order to be done the work of widening Lemon Street in said City, from the Southerly line of Oak Street to the Northerly line of Santa Ana S'xeet, in accordance with Resolution of In- tention No. 50 declaring the intention of sai t Board of -'Trustees to order said work to be. done, and it is hereby ordered that said work t , be done in accordance with said resolution of intention. Sec. 2. That, subject to removal by said C Board of Trustees at any time for cause, Frank Sh6.nley, M. Nebelung and G.J. Stock be and they are hereby appofuted commissioners to assess the benefits and damages, and have gen- eral supervision of said work until the comple- tion thereof, in compliance with an Act of the Legislani-e of the State of California, ap proved March 6,1889,and entitled "An act to pro- videfor laying out, opening, extending, widen- ing, straightening, or closing up, in whole or in part, any street, squa.e, lane, alley, court or place within municipalities, ani to condemn and acquire any and all land and property necessary or convenient for that purpose." For their services said commissioners shall receive as compensation the sum of $2.50 per diem for the days upon which they are actually en- gaged in performing said services. Before pro- ceeding with the pe.:formance of their duties, I each of said commissioners shall file with the Clerk of this Board of Tiustees an affidavit and a bond to the State of California in the sum of $5,00 to faithfully perform the duties of his of- fice, in the manner and form required by law. Sec. 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published once in the Orange Coun- ty Plain Dealer, a weekly newspaper printed, published and circulated in. said City of Ana- heim, and thereupon and thereafter it shall be in full force and effect.
