Ordinance No. 228. An Ordinance Fixing and Levying a Property Tax on All Property Within the Corporate Limits of the City of Anaheim for the Fis- cal Year 1910-1911. The Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim do ordain as follows;, Section 1. That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1910- 1911 of one dollar on each one hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of all real and personal Property within the corporate limits of the City Of Anaheim, for the ordinary annual expendi- tures of said City. Section 2. That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1910- 1911 of 7 1-2 cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of all real and personal proporty within the corporate limits of the City Of Anaheim, for the propose of paying the annual iInterest of the indebtedness of said City incurred or the purpose of constructing a City Hall, for the extension and completion of the City Water Works, for the grading and improvement of streets, and the purchase of property for the I+'ire Department, together with one -twentieth of said indebtedness. Section 3. That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1910 1911 of four cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, for the purpose of paying the annu- al interest of the indebtedness of said City incur- red for the purpose of constructing and erecting a City Electric Light Plant, together with one - fortieth of said indebtedness. Section 4. That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1910 1911 of 10 1-2 cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the, corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, for the purpose of paying the annu al interest of the indebtedness of said City incur- red for the purpose of the extension and im- provement of the Citv Nater Works and for the improvement of the Electric Light Plant, togeth- er with one -fortieth of said indebtedness. Section 5. That there be and hereby is fixed ind levied a properly tax fon- the fiscal year 1910- 1911 of 30 1-2 cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, for the purpose of paying the annu- al interest of the indebtedness of said City incur- red for the extension and improvement of the City Nater Works, and for the extension and improvement of the City Electric Light Plant, together with one -fortieth of said indebtedness. Section 6. That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for the fiscal year 1910- 1911 of 8 1-2 cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of all real and personal Property within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim, for the purpose of .paying the annu- al interest of the indebtedness of said City incur- red for the purpose of paving a portion of South Los Angeles Street, and certain street intersec- tions in said City, together with one -fifteenth of said indebtedness. Section 7- That there be and hereby is fixed and levied a property tax for fire fiscal year 1910- 1911 of nine cents on each one hundred dollars of the assessed valuation of all real and personal property= within the corporate limits of the City of Anaheim for the purpose of maintaining the Public Library of said City. Section 8. The City Clerk shall certify to the Passage of this ordinance and cause the same to be published once in the Anaheim Gazette, a weekly newspaper of general circulation printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim, and thereupon it shall take effect and be in full force.
