THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FOES OR- DAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1: That Section 31 of Ordinance No. 701 of the City of Anaheim entitled "AN.OR,DINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM PRO- VIDING FOR THE LICENSING OF CERTAIN .BUSINESSES, TRADES, PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS, FIXING THE RATE OF LICENSE THEREFOR, PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION THEREOF, AND FIXING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF" be amended to read a7 follows: SECTION 31: Every person con- ducting, managing or carrying on any public amukement room, busi- ness or parlor other than a theatre, show, theatrical performance or other type of amusement or recrea- tion in this Ordinance elsewhere described shall pay the following annual license: (a) For any such public amuse- ment room, business or parlor, wherein no pool tables, billiard tables and/or bowling alleys are kept or maintained for use by the public, an annual license of Seven- ty-five Dollars ($75.00). (b) For any such public amuse- ment room, business or parlor, wherein pool tables, and/or billiard tables are kept or maintained for use by the public, an annual li- cense of Seventyfive Dollars ($75.00) together with the sum of Ten Dol- lars ($10.00) for each pool table and/or billiard table. c) For any' such public amuse- ment room, business or parlor, wherein bowling alleys are kept or maintained for use by the public, an annual license of Twelve Dol- lars ($12.00) for each bowling al- ley. SECTION 2: Ordinance No. 781 of the City of Anaheim, entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF T14IB CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEWDING SECTION 31 OF ORDINANCE NO. 701 OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ENTITLED 'AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AN- AHEIM PROVIDING FOR THE LI- CENSING OF CERTAIN BUSINES- SES, TRADES, PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS, FIXING THE RATE OF LICENSE THEREOF, PROVID- ING FOR THE COLLECTION THEREOF, AND FIXING PENAL- TIES FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF." adopted July 10, 1951, is hereby repealed. SECTION 3: Any person, firm or corporation violating the pro - via I ons ro-visions of this` Ordinance shall be subject to all of the terms, condi- tions and provisions of Ordinance No. 701 and to the penalties as pro- vided in Section 4 of said Ordi- nance. No. 701- SECTION 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ord- inance and shall cause the same to be printed and published once Within fifteen (1.5) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper Of general circulation printed, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (M) days from and after its final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
