For the purpose of paying the principal and interest of said bonds, the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim shall, at the time of fixing the general tax levy, and in the manner for such general tax levy pro- vided, levy and collect for the fund herein- after provided for annually each year until such bonds are paid or until there shall be a sum in the treasury of said city set apart for that purpose sufficient to meet all sums be- coming due for the principal and interest on all said bonds, taxes sufficient to pay the an- nual interest on said bonds and also such part of the principal thereof as shall become due before the time for fixing the next general tax levy Said taxes shall be in addition to all other taxes levied for municipal purposes and shall be collected at the same time and in the same manner as other municipal taxes are collected, and as collected shall be forthwith paid into the fund for which the same was levied and collected; that the fund into which the taxes co'lected to pay the principal and interest of the said bonds shall be paid, is hereby desig- nated as "Fire Apparatus Bond Interest and Redemption Fund. 1914," and the sums to be come due for principal and interest on said bonds shall be paid from such fund. Section 5. The Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim ,hall sell said bonds at such times and in such amounts as it may deter- mine and the proceeds arising from any such sale shall be placed in the treasury of the City of Anaheim to the credit of the .said "Fire Apparatus Bond Interest and Redemp- tion Fund, 1914.1' which fund is hereby creat- ed and such proceeds shall be used exclu- sively for the purpose for which said bonds were issued. Section 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and cause the same to be published once in The Orange Comity Plain Dealer, a weekly newspaper of general circulation printed and published in the said City of Anaheim and thirty days from and after its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
