LIGHT, HEAT AND POWER OVER

FOR THE USE OF THE CITY @F
ANAHEIM AND ITO INHARITANTO,
AND PROVIDING .FOR SELLING,
LEASING AND DISTRIBUTING
SUCH EXCESS.
Whereas, the City of Anaheim has built
and constructed a certain Public Utility,
to -wit:. A Municipal Water and Light
Plant, for the distribution of water and
for the generation .and distribution of
light, heat and power, and,
Whereas, in the operation of said Public
Utility said City of Anaheim Ins devel-
oped an excess of `nater, light, heat and
power over and above the amount thereof
which is necessary for the use of said city
and its inhabitants.
Now, therefore, the Board of Trustees
of the City of Anaheir4 do ordain as fol
lows:
Section 1. That the Board of Trustpett

outside of -the corporate limits of the said
City of Anaheim, on such terms as may
be established and prescribed by the
Board of Trustees of the City of. Anaheim,
and said Board of Trustees may, and it to
hereby authorized and empowered to lease
such excess of water, light, heat and
power, or either or any of them, provided
that no lease thereof shall be valid for a
period of more than fifteen,(15) years, and
all of such leases shall be let to the high-'
est bidder at publle auction.

Section 4. The City Clerk of the City of
Anaheim, shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance, and cause the same to be
published once in the "Anaheim Gazette,=f
