SCALES TESTED BY THE COUNTY

URES AND FIXING A PENALTY
POR VIOLATIONS THEREOI'.
The Board of Trustees of the City of
Anaheim do ordain as follows:
Section 1. In all sales of ice and other
commodities which are usually sold in
commerce by avoirdupois weight, the
serer must use scales in weighing any
article so sold which have been tested b�
the County Sealer -of \Weights and Meas-
tires, of Orange County, California, with-
in six months before such sale.
Section 2. 4n person, firm or corpor-
ation. who shall violate this Ordinance,
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and
upon conviction thereof, shall pay a fine
Of not more than $100.100, or be impris-
oned in the City Jail not more than loo
days.
This Ordinance shall take effect from
Haid after thirty days from its passage,
andpublication in the "Anaheim Ga-
zette," a newspaper of general circula-
tion in the City of Anahelm, California,
and thereafter the same shall be in force
and effect.
The City Clerk shall certify to the
Passage of this Ordinance and cause the
same to be published as herein provided.
The foregoing Ordinance is signed, ap-
prot'ed and attested by me this 9th day -

The Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim. doiW ordain as

and cause the same to be published as herein provided.
