ORDINANCE NO. 313 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF AN- AHEIM, AMENDING SECTION 18 OF ORDINANCE NO. 295 OF SAID CITY, ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE LICEN-ING, FOR THE PURPOSE OF REVEIIUE AND REGULATI O N O F P U RSUITS, TRADES, OCCUPATIONS, AVOCA- TIONS, EMPLOYMENTS AND BUS- INESS CARRIED ON IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND FIXING THE RATES THEREFOR AND PENAL- 'T'IES FOR THE VIOLATION THERE- OF, AND REPEALING ALL ORDIN- ANCES IN CONFLICT WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE," PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE 26th DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1915. THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF TI3E CITY OF ANAHEIM DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Section 1S of Or- dinance No. 295 of the City of Anaheim entitled "An Ordinance to provide for the licensing, for the purpose of revenue and regulation of pursuits, trades, occu- pations, avocations, employments and business carried on in the City of Ana- heim and fixing the rates therefor and penalties for the violation thereof, and repealing all ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance," pass- ed and adopted on the 26th day of No- vember, 1915, be, and the same is here - b: amended to read as follows: "SECTION 18. For every street ex- hibiter for pay, or to attract customers, .and for every vendor of wares and mer- chandise who shall sell or offer for sale such wares or merchandise, by public outcry on any public street in said city, except as provided 'in Section 20 of this ordinance, Ten Dollars ($10.00) per day. For each person who conducts doll -racks, ring -boards or other devices or contests of'sill, or for the taking of chances (ex- cept as other,rvise herein provided) Three Dollars ($3.00) per day, for each such doll-rack,ring board, or other such de- vice; and for every shooting gallery, Five Dollars ($5.00) per month payable in advance. SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provis- ions of this ordinance are hereby repeal- ed. SECTION 3. The City Clerk of the City of Anaheim shall certify to the pas- sage of this ordinance, and cause the same to be published once in the Ana- heim Cazette, a weekly newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said city, and thirty days from and after its final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
