proprietor of the Anaheim Gazette, a newspaper of general circulation, print-
ed and published weekly in the City of Anaheim, in said County of Orange,
State of California; that said Anaheim Gazette is and was at all times herein
mentioned, a newspaper of general circulation and is published for the dis-
semination of local and telegraphic news and intelligence of a general char-
acter, having a bona fide subscription list of paying subscribers; that at all
said times said newspaper had been established, printed and published in the
said City of Anaheim, in said County and State at regular intervals for more
than one year preceding the first publication of the notice herein mentioned;

ORDINANCE NO. 345.
An Ordinance amending :Section 2of
adopted on the 22nd day of June, ' 1916.
The Board of 'Trustees of the City of
Anaheim do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That Section 2 o Ordinance
F No. 303 of the City of Anaheim entitled
` "An Ordinance Prescribing the Duties- of
4' the City Attorney' and Fixing his Com -
6 enation„" passed' and adopted on the
22nd day of lube, 1916, be., and the same'
is
hereby amended to read as follows:
I . ,Section 2. As compensation for his..
services, the City Attorney shall receive
the sum of One Hundred .($100.0x) Dol-
lars per month, payable monthly, provid-
;ed that for extraordinary services to be
hereafter rendered by him, he $hall re-
ceive such sum or sums in addition to
the sum of $100.00 per month as such
extraordinary services may be reasonably
worth.
The words "extraordingry services" as
the same are used in this section,' shall
be deemed to mean all actions and'speelal .
proceeding prosecuted by or against
said City of Anaheim, or any officer there-
of in his official capacity In any Court of
#tecord of the State of California or of; I
the United States; or proceedings hod l
had in any Court or before' any tribunal
In which the oonstitutionality, or *9,1 dity
of any ordinance of the City of Airaheim'
or any resolution or other- proeseding
passed or adopted by the Board of Trus-
tees of said City, 'shall be attached or
involved." -
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of
ordinances In conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance, are, hereby repealed.
Section 3. The City Clerk of the City
of Anaheim . shall :certify to the passage
of this Ordinane and he shall cause the
same to be published once' in the Ana-
heim Gazette, a weekly newspaper of
general circulation printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty days
from and after its final passage it' shall!
take effect and be in full froce.

ORDINANCE NO. 346.
An Ordinance amending Section 2 of
Ordinance No. 303 of the City of Ana-
heim, entitled "An Ordinance Prescrib- -
iug the Duties of the City Attorney- and
1�ixing his Compensation," passed and
adopted on the 22nd day of June, 1916.
The Board of Trustees of the City of
_Anaheim do ordain as follows:
Section 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance
No. 303 of the City of Anaheim, entitled
"An Ordinance Prescribing the Duties of
the City Attorney and Fixing his Com-
pensation," passed and adopted on the
22nd day of June, 191.6, be, and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 2. As compensation for his
services, the City Attorney shall receive
the sum of One Hpndred ($100.00) Dol-
lat•s per month, payable monthly, provid-
ed that for -extraordinary services to be
hereafter rendered by him, he shall re-
ceive such sum or sums in addition to
'he sum of $100.00 per month as suet,
extraordinary services may be reasonably-
worth.
The words "extraordinary services" as
the same are used in this section, shall
be deemed to mean all actions and special
proceedings _ prosecuted by or against
said City of Anaheim, or any officer there-
of in his official capacity in any Court of
Record of the State of California or of
the United States; or proceedings had
before any officer, board or commission
of the State of California, where evidence
is introduced, argument had or where the
City- Attorney shalll be required to ap-
pear in person before such officer, board
or commission for the conduct of any
such proceedings, also of proceedings
had in any Court or before any tribunal
in which the constitutionality or validity
of any ordinance of the City of Anaheim
or any resolution or other proceeding
passed or adopted by the Board of Trus-
tees of said City, shall be attacked or
involved."
Section 2. All ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict with the provisions
of this ordinance, are hereby repealed.
Section 3. The City Clerk of the City
of Anaheim shall certify to the passage
of this Ordinanc and he shall cause the
name to be published once in the Ana-
heim Gazette, a weekly newspaper of
general circulation printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty days
from and after its final passage it shall
take effect and be in full froce.
The foregoing ordinance is signed, ap-
proved and attested by me, this 27th day
of March, A. D. 1919.
