AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM PROVIDING FOR THE
INSPECTION OF MEATS tiVITHIN ;
SAID CITY AND FIXING THE PEN-
ALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION
THEREOF.
The Board of Trustees of the City of
Anaheim do ordain as follows- "
SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful fol'
any person, firm or corporation to sell,
have, keep or expose for sale, for human j
food, or to have in possession„ the flesh of i
any cattle, calves, sheep, swine or goats,
within the City of Anaheim,
unless the same shall have -been
slaughtered in an official estab-
lishment under the supervision • of a>;.
United States Government Inspector, in
accordance with the regulations relating
to the inspection of. meat ,hs prescribed
by the Department of Agriculture of the
United States or under inspection recog-

imprisonment, in the city jail for a per-
