acter, having a bona fide subscription list of paying subscribers; that at all
said times said newspaper had been established, printed and published in the
said City of Anaheim, in said County and State at regular intervals for more
than one year preceding

NANCE NUMBER. 442 OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM, ENTITLED "AIV
ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR
TnE LICENSING OF BUSINESS,
PROMSSIONS, SHOWS, EXHIBI-
TIONS, GAMES, CONDUCTED OR
CARRIED ON IN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM, FIXING THE RATE OF
LICENSE THEREFOR, PROVIDING
FOR THE COLLECTION THEREOF,
AND FIXING A PENALTY FOR
THE VIOLATION THEREOF."
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DO OR-
DAIN AB FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 17 of Ordi-
nance 442 of the City of Anaheim, en-
titled "An Ordinanco Providing for t,Ite
Licensing of Business, Professio'Srs,
Shows, Eahibtions, Games, Conducted or
Carried on in the City of Anaheim, Fix -
!ng the Rate of License Therefor, Pro-
viding for the Collection Thereof, and.
Fixing a Penalty for the Violation
Thereof,", passed and adopted by the
Board of Trubtees of the City of Ana-
heim on the 10th day of December, 1923,
IF hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 2. For every person, firm
or corporation conducting, managing or
nannying on, or engaged in the business
of selling at auction goods, wares and
merchandise, Two Hundred Dollars
1($200.00) per year.
For every person, firm or corporation
conducting, managing or carrying on,
or engaged in the business of selling
at auction any chattels other than
goods, wares or merchandise, Twenty-
five Dollars ($26.00) per month.
SECTION 8. All Ordinances . and
parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this ordinance are hereby
' repe�iled.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk of the
City of Anaheim shall certify to the
Passage of this ordinance, and cause
the same to be published once in the
Anabeim Gazette, a newspaper of gen-
eral circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (80)
days after Its final passage, it shall take
effect and be in full force.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE LAMER 442 OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE LICENSING 4F BUSINESS,
PROFESSIONS, SHOWS, EXHIBITIONS, GAMES, CONDUCTED OR CARRIED ON IN
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, FIXING THE RATE OF LICENSE THEREFOR, PROVIDING
FOR THE COLLECTION TFEREOF, AND FIXING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION
THEREOF."
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That Section 17 of Ordinance 442 of the
city of Anaheim entitled "An Ordinance providing for the Licensing
of Business, prof6ssions, Shows, Exhibitions, Games, conducted or
carried on in the City of Anaheim, Fixing the Rate of License
therefor, providing for the Collection Thereof) and Fixing a
penalty for the Violation Thereof," passed and adopted by the s
Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim on the 10th day of
December 1923, is hereby amended to read as follows:
SECTION 2: For every person, firm or o+prporation conduct-
ing, managing or carrying on, or engaged in the business of
selling at auction goods, wares and merchandise Two Hundred 0200.00'
Dollars per year. ,
For every person, firm or corporation conducting, managing,
or carrying on, or engaged in the business of selling at auction
any chattels other than goods, wares or merchandise, Twenty-five
($25.00) Dollars per month.
SECTION 3: All Ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.

(certify to the passage of this ordinance, and cause the same to be
